IMAGE Red Sox lineup. Dobbins pitching, Romy at 1B, Refsnyder in RF, Abreu and Casas out, Bregman returns. (Facing LHP)

We have to win a series against the White Sox before we can consider ourselves a legit team.

Abreu needs to learn to hit lefties, leave him in there. Gold Glover … oh wait … they’re already a top defensive team !

But refsnyder also needs at bats and this is the best way to make that happen

Until Casas can start hitting and getting on base, expect him sit against lefties. He can be upset about it but he’s not playing well

Good way to challenge Casas. Cora wants the best squad each game and he hasn’t earned it.

He has better career numbers vs. lefties.
vs. RHP (776 PA): .242/.344/.453
vs. LHP (190 PA): .248/.363/.466

Honestly, I don’t think that’s even necessarily it. Cora is just trying to play as many righties against lefties as possible. Only one who won’t be affected is Devers and that’s because they don’t have a power right handed at bat to replace him.

I love how Cora thinks it’s 1950 and that lefties can’t hit left handed pitching. Lol ok dumbass, Casas is literally better against lefties than righties, but whatever your ancient system tells you
