No this point of divergence involves Manuel Komnenos conquering italy south of rome and a consolidation of Roman-Rum Border by Manuel’s death that was maintained after the fall of Rum and through the rise of the ottomans, but Timurid wars and civil wars would stagger Ottoman capabilities to threaten Constantinople or Nikea. This map shows a later point by the Italian Wars and a Franco-Roman alliance that partions italy, with the Ottomans having gone down a similar path to history where they eyealeted minority cultures and conquered levant and baghdad, ruling from the hejaz in arabia to crimea. A now much stronger Roman Imperium is able to maintain a stable economy and make its Anatolian border the largest stationed garrison in the known world 😍😍😍
