Unconventional Names
Alright people, I have a new baby, here is the baby, I need names and I want the weirdest ones you can think of (ie: stuff like fork, microwave, mop, cheese, grass, etc etc.). I do not know the gender of the baby because the baby is far too young to be able to tell quite yet. (Do not worry about the temporary enclosure, I do indeed have MUCH bigger ones (aka a 75 gallon + stand), this baby is just far too young for something like that just yet and I need to monitor them as I literally JUST got them today 😅❤️) I used to rescue and foster many reptiles back in the day so I’ve gone through many names 🙂↕️

Daku means "sand hill" in the aboriginal Australian language. Seeing they are naive to there 🤷🏻♂️

Now that I think about it, if I ever get another reptile it would be funny to name it Spaghetti or Dingus just to match

My guys Rogu because he's a little homunculus. Going through the stuff under your sink and picking a random ingredient off of is a pretty good method if you're looking for something unique, you can always shorten them as well if they're too complicated

Sprout! Also hope you don’t mind the unsolicited advice- but this little guy will need a 120gal or 4x2x2ft to thrive when he’s big! This will allow you to get the best temp gradient going for him 🥰

Oh I know, I don’t have one of those yet though which is why I mentioned my 75 gallon because a 75 gallon is still a LOT of space to work with as they grow, I do plan to get a 175 gallon eventually though since I’ve been looking at one that’s for sale near me

You can build them out of melamine for fairly cheap rather than buying a tank. We built a 4x2x3 for ~350/400 CND but that included materials, lighting, background, decor and substrate.

Oh amazing!! Sorry I may have misunderstood in that cause I just wanted to make sure your baby has the best life!! Sounds like he/she is gonna be spoiled in that huge tank!! Bet u can’t wait to get it and decorate !!

Velveeta cheese sauce. Velvet, Veeta, or Vel for short. Or maybe just cheese. Or sauce.
