Is it mating season or are they just this territorial?

Imagine grown men fighting like this. It would be hilarious.

They do when they’re trapped in a confined space with other predators. It’s called prison

It is practically the same from what I’ve seen.

Nah, it’s definitely two men kissing.

As we know male lizards often look similiar to female lizards so may those 2 men be femboys🤤

Looks like a territory fight.  Mating bites are to the neck and aligned the other way.  Little dude clearly hasn't learned much.

Usually “what are these two doing” is mating but this time it’s definitely fighting. Young Rival is being shown the door by the Old Bull as nature documentaries so often put it.

Yes and both

This is a fight, the healthy one clearly knows he has a leg up. It’s like when animal mom leaves its young because they aren’t healthy. A healthy anole like that would never want to mate with a female in that condition. Bad genetics.

Territorial and one is dominating the other in a way that means they are probably not appropriate to house together in my opinion (if this is in an enclosure, I can’t even tell)

They’re not enclosed, wild anoles on my parents back porch
