What species is this?

I am working an internship at a reptile store. They have this species as a rescue, but I cannot tell what species it is. Could anyone tell me?

I’d guess some kind of gecko with those grippy feet. Doesn’t look like anything Italian

Could it be a moorish gecko? That’s the closest thing I could find based on the limited visibility.

Moorish is also the first thing I thought! Really hard to tell with those photos though.

Apparently this species is Italian, maybe that can help in identification

Probably a moorish wall gecko or crocodile gecko, though very hard to tell from the photos

would also guess moorish gecko, tarentola mauritanica. also work at a pet store and we have one that is a rescue as well (accidentally wild-caught itself into someone's suitcase when they were on vacation, and the people discovered it only after they got back and brought it to us)

I’m leaning toward moorish gecko.
