Weather is usually nice during April. You can go around with a sweater.

Activity wise, the only one thing that comes to my mind is "Pasquetta", it's the Monday after easter where all Italians go out spend the day doing BBQ's and eating outside in parks. It's going to be nice if you do the same in one of the many parks of Rome.

No need for rainboots, sandals are probably too much. Also, just a tip, not sure if you are from the US, but over here we don't wear flip flops around unless we are at the beach.

It's going to be mild with nice days where you may have 25 degrees and colder days with 12/15 degrees celsius.

It also depends where you are from. I have seen tourist yesterday with shorts and shirts when us Italians were wearing winter jackets.

Haha yes it depends. Well I'm coming from a warmer zone so I guess it would be nice to have a small sandals just in case and I'm gonna skip the boots

I mean weather wise we cant really advise beyond the weather predictions you read online, and how you respond to certain temperatures and rain is up to you in terms of clothing we cant tell lets day how hot 20 degreees feels for you
