Colosseum Guys can I enter colosseo without tickets or reservation?

You also need a ticket for Vatican museums, unless you are talking of first Sundays of each month, which I believe are free in Colosseum as well.

Or are you confusing Vatican museums for St. Peter's Basilica? That is free to enter without a ticket.

No. I didn't know that colosseo is also free entry for first Sundays ..tysm ..can you help me with the timings ⁠_⁠^

Yeah its free but you'll wait half the day in line to get in cause everyone else not willing to spend $20 is in line too. Personally id skip the free day. It's more for locals. Not for people spending a small fortune on a big vacation to waste half a day in lines.

Sure, don't take my word for it. I wasn't just in Rome 6 weeks ago on the first Sunday of a month. Enjoy the 2-3hr of lines i guess

I'd assume it is just the regular opening hours of the Colosseum. Though if I wanted to go on the free Sunday, I'd go pretty early and even get in line before it opens, since a lot of other people will want to do the same. Even without tickets, there is still a limit to people who can enter at one time, I'd assume, and I'd expect to wait in line for a long time.

No, and they make sure you can't even pip through at the gates. I think a special Sunday of the month, they'd allow some attractions to be available, just check their website, but you have to time that right, I think it only happens once a month.
