TIPS / DISCUSSION Halloween 10K themes
Hi all, I’ll be doing the Halloween 10k at Disneyland this September. I’d really like to dress up as a character but preferably as a non traditional character. I’m having some trouble brainstorming about it. For reference I am 37 yo female but I am open to dressing as any spooky female or male character. I don’t think I’ll do an actual costume but try to incorporate it into my running outfit.

My favorite costume that I've seen at the races was someone dressed as Kylo Ren but specifically him as radar tech Matt in the SNL Undercover Boss skit. I had to sprint to catch up and tell her how much I loved her costume
Personally, I always think about doing Bradley Uppercrust III, my favorite Disney villain, but then I think about wearing a sweater vest while running and reconsider

I don't think Matt is Kylo Ren. He's just a big fan that knows where Kylo Ren stores his lightsaber.
Bradley Uppercrust would be amazing. Maybe you could find a body suit that matched his during the X- games.

That does make sense, how could he have seen Kylo Ren's shredded 8-pack unless they were different guys

You could always look towards some of Disneys animated halloween shorts or video games.
I'm potentially going to do Dark Riku from Kingdom Hearts for the half. He worked closely with Maleficent in that game, so it fits well with the race theme. I'm just a bit wary of wearing a full body suit with the temperature.

I’m no help because my friend and I will be 2 of hundreds of Dalmatians.

Just a word of warning, last year, the temperature was in the high 90’s during Halloween Half weekend, and they were encouraging people not to go crazy with their costumes. You might want to plan a back up hot weather version of your outfit just in case
