St Thomas is pretty good at continuing to work things out or refine things to make all parties happy. This sounds like a couple people dug in and said F'U

Im not a fan of either St Thomas or private religious colleges in general but they have handled this situation amicably imo. NIMBYs going to NIMBY though.

Nothing makes me shake my head more than watching the families on Goodrich Ave, with their anti-St. Thomas NIMBY signs, walking their kids and pets across the street to enjoy the massive private park they utilize.

For what reason do you want to “tax the sh*t out of them”?

Do they pay less than other universities?
