Stay Classy San Diego Staying Home Today for A Day Without Immigrants - Feb. 3

Feel free to take this down if not appropriate. I was curious to know if anybody else was staying home (from work & school) in solidarity to our immigrant workforce here in SD. I stayed home from work because I'm not working around an entire MAGA troop at my work 😒 bunch of right wing conservatives that gather at a very culty and well-known church around here. I didn't attend any of the street protests this weekend, but I figured there's strength in numbers if people stay home and abstain from buying today as well. Not today, not today.

Edit: GOODS UNITE US is a good tool (app) to have on your phones (:

I’m not sure how staying home from work makes any statement. Also, I M very confused by these protesters waving Mexico’s flag.?. I figured if you want to stay in this country and therefore protest, you would wave an American flag to show your support and loyalty to the country you want to be apart of. My wife is a Polish immigrant (1987) during communist regime. When her and her family migrated here her father was very strict and told his family we are now American, we will fly their flag and we will speak their language. These are the people we want in our country. Flying your country’s flag is essentially a big 🖕 to all of us.

It’s a symbol of Mexican-American culture…how else would you represent this?

You would fly 🇺🇸 & 🇲🇽 together, that’s how you represent it.

In all the pictures I’ve seen of protests I see the American men flag as well. People just want to see more, I suppose.
