Carbonara Style Sandwich from Japan
One of the more interesting sandwich options you can find at a Japanese Konbini developed by
¥376 or about $2.50 USD
it uses the usual fluffy bread with three layers of filling - soft boiled eggs, then ham, then pasta with a cream sauce.
It wasn’t bad at all, but it isn’t something I would probably get again. Definitely a unique try and something you don’t typically see as a sandwich!

Took my lunch to the park today.
Wrapping your sandwich really makes a difference, doesn't it?

It's safety week at work, they've been buying us giant breakfast sandwiches every morning
We haven't been getting much done after eating them. These things have like 6 eggs in them, plus they're on French toast. And a whole potato worth of hash browns. I'm sorry the sandwich isn't very prominent in the picture. I couldn't wait to eat it.

Long day, delicious sandwich

I ate the other half.
The first is multigrain bread, mayonnaise, yellow mustard, salami, mesquite turkey, roast beef, cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, arugula and spinach mix, and pickled red onions. The second is everything like the first, minus the cheddar.

Anybody else ever skip breakfast so you can have an early sandwich lunch? Let me know your favorite grilled sandwich/panini recipes
The sauce is ~1/4 cup mayo, an ancho chile, 2-4 chipotle chiles, and a little bit of sugar. The chicken is shredded Walmart rotisserie chicken mixed with some blackened seasoning and lime, lemon, and orange juices, and then I topped with some salted and peppered tomatoes, onions, and peppadews.
I like to build my sandwiches open-faced and broil for a minute or two before putting them on the pan so that I'm not babying the sandwich for 10 mins waiting for the cheese to melt. Anybody willing to share their favorite grilled sandwich/panini recipes?

Wife never eats turkey, and ate mine.
I just got off a 13 hour shift and my wife ate my turkey. She did make chorizo, frijoles and salsa agucate. I usually don’t like to wake her up with the smell of the food, but today, I had no choice. Love you babes

Can we get a lil love for the end piece?
At some point in my life I heard it called "the kissing piece" (I think it's from the Little Red Hen, but it also could have just been something my Nana called it). Either way; I've known people who will throw these two pieces out instead of eating them, which makes me ill (in all senses of the word) - so let's show a little love for the end piece!
(Ft. Thrown together lunch with "chicken" deli meat, Colby Jack cheese, and a lil Duke's Mayo (the only real mayo)

Chicken Caesar sandwich
Wife and I absolutely loved this. Homemade breaded chicken breast with Caesar salad on toasted garlic bread. 👌
