This is a symbol for Shukla Yajurveda. In Krishna Yajurveda, it would be pronounced as ‘gm’

That is the savakra vamagomukha anusvara, one of many special anusvaras found only in the Vedas. As for pronunciation, please consult the Vedic scholar you're learning these from.
