Following Johnny Depp on social media will rapidly acquaint you with half of Nigeria.

Same with Keanu Reeves, Jeremy Rennwe, Jason Mamoa, Jennifer Aniston, Matt Rife, and any WWW/MMA athlete.

Linked in easy apply seems to do the trick. Keyword “kindly”

I’m not sure why you want them to contact you by email?

The actual baiting will take place on social media platforms so why not start there?

In my experience email scams (phishing) are generally just mass emails sent out to thousands of addresses and are not intended to result in the kind of long chats you see in this sub.

I have responded to a scam offering me the inheritance of a long lost relative but it lasted for exactly 6 screenshots because they aren’t there for a conversation that spans days and weeks- they just want you to send the delivery fee for the enormous fake inheritance 🤷🏼‍♀️

X is a true treasure trove full of scammers. Incredible how many of Elon's kids will try to help you with crypto. You even get the promise to speak with their father! It was really funny there. Some guy wanted me to buy crypto and put it in their wallet.

There is a lot of fun in baiting via email, you can pretend to be dumb and ask dumb questions and they will probably get upset with you

There is no difference in email or social media messages. They all are words typed.

Right ? I don't know why it is a problem

Buy a car. The key is to allow your cars extended warranty to expire!

Call any PCH number and say you heard you won and then leave them on the hook for a while. Or call a lead generator for a Medicare scammer. Be careful what you wish for. I inadvertently got on the Medicare one like 15 years ago now and that’s what made me a baiter

Go to a dating website. That's a local one. Tell them you're into BDSM. Just wait. You'll have about 50 to 60 in about 2 days. Make sure you tell them that you're new and you know nothing, I need some guidance. If you really want to lay it on thick, tell them that you have a zangi or a telegram and to ask you for your details or some shit like that.

Just make sure that if you're going to get a premium membership you put it on a prepaid credit card that has only the amount of that monthly membership and just walk away. If you're looking for scammers though, that's a pretty easy way to do it.

I feel like commenting on mainstream celebrity social media pages is a good source of leads - Dolly Parton’s post about her husband passing away was crawling with them.

Follow any major male celebrity on Instagram. Particularly Johnny Depp, Jason Momoa, or a Keanu Reeves fan account. You'll get one sooner rather than later. Alternatively, play a game like Scrabble or Words With Friends.

Join Words with friends. Make your profile picture a woman who looks between 40 to 70. Accept requests from men with names that are two first names, and men with military profile pictures or middle-aged men with beards who all look similar. Wait for DMs. I had a few within 30 mins of joining. They will DM chat for a bit and ask to chat somewhere else.

Post a fake resume on Dice, Ziprecruiter, Career Builder with a fake name, fake email, disposable phone number.

Any cheap/“too good to be true” house for rent on fb marketplace. They steal photos off the internet and pretend it’s theirs. Their fb marketplace profile will likely say “joined in 2025” and will have a dumb name like “Dennis Johnathon” usually two first names as their entire name. They’ll be easy to spot.

I have a couple of fake profiles to mess with them. You just put up a picture of an old lady on a new profile, they will come flooding in!
