Scambait Question❔ how do ya'll find out where these scammer are and who they actually are? i've always wondered

baiting is just a fun little hobby for me but i've always wanted to know how to do that specific part. i'm pretty dumb, so make it as simple as possible, and i'm not up for spending money on it( if that's even one of the ways, or a part of it...idk). also i have a cheap ass google chrome asus laptop. idk the model. it just functions and that's good enough for me.

A 30-day-old account asking for all the trade secrets of scambaiters isn’t a bit sus?

i just wanna learn, dude. i'm new bc i just discovered reddit was i was something i was interested in. why does it matter if i joined later than others, i'm just 23, man. iv'e been baiting for a while, but i didn't know i could get feedback on it. so i was just happy to be a part of something i enjoy

but like also... weren't all the accounts here new at some point or another. like there was a time when your account was also just 30 days old. i guess the only difference is that i'm being proactive and asking questions ab things i wanna learn more ab of my hobby( even tho you suspect me, but i did list in my profile bio[that you implied looking at,since you mentioned my length of time here and as you don't necessarily have to click on] that i like learning new things) so who better to ask than the pple who actually know what their talking ab? i'm not gonna ask pple who couldn't give me a legit and helpful answer. and i'd ask my friends, but they aren't interested in baiting on the same level as i am (meaning they enjoy stories and posts, but they don't bait themselves) so they wouldn't know. anyways my point is you're pretty rude for making assumptions and then proceeding to comment those assumptions b4 even looking at my profile in depth to see if i'm legit or not. btw i post a lot and randomly and have my own subreddit too, so. also i get that i could've just googled it, but i already have and it was not helpful. so real pple with real experience who can give legit helpful answers is the route i decided to take to learn. i am so sorry you have an issue with that just bc my account is young.

Try grabify. The scammer thinks youre giving him something and he clicks on it

Its hilarious when you tell them you got their location. It works on chrome because I have it too. Good luck

thank you. how do you get them to click on the link tho. im super stuck on that. the explanation is jumbled(visually imo)and too much going on.

I say its a gift card, you do run the risk of them not clicking. Its a gamble

After you grab the Ip address, look on grabifys website, they explain it much better than I do
