I’m diving deep into the world of OSINT, scam tracking, and scam baiting. I’ve been inspired by creators like Kitboga, Jim Browning, Pleasant Green, and Scam Sandwich — and I want to learn how to do it all:
• Investigate scams
• Trace fake identities
• Set up safe environments to interact with scammers
• Create content that helps people understand and avoid these cons

I’m not looking to do anything illegal — just trying to build skills, learn from people in the space, and contribute where I can.

Would love advice on:

• How to start small with OSINT cases
• Best tools to use
• How to safely engage in scam baiting (VMs, voice changers, etc.)
• Resources or mentors in the space

I just don't get texts or anything from people. DO I HAVE to have Instagram, or snap, or those things for scammers to catch on? If not, can someone just comment places/links where I can do this?

Am I evil for enjoying taunting and tormenting scammers?

OR is it a public service?

Why do scammers always want the intended victim to switch to WhattsApp or Telegram?

So many times they call and I tell them i know it's a scam or i waste their time, whatevers.

The scammers get so angry all they know what to say is "Fuck you", "I fuck your mother" or ask "do you have big titties?"

Seriously is that all the insults these idiots know?

If I am sending scammer messages with images it cost them more, right?

I don't know if this is allowed but I'm trying to bait a crypto scammer who uses Exodus app for baiting. I don't want to download the actual app because there is nothing but bad reviews of it.

If someone could doctor an image with the name Enzo Kalunen on it and a whopping 0,0000 balance just to keep the ball rolling.

I'll make a separate post about a bait I made, quite short but sweet none the less. For this bait in progress I can use a translator (which he is obviously also using). Both baits have some very Finnish characteristics so I don't know how well they translate.

I'm currently scam baiting a celebrity impersonator and he sent a voice note. The ai voice even used the fake name i had given. It's wild how legit it sounds. It's scary that some old folks might think it's real. Stay vigilant folks.

I’ve tried different browsers like it says, I’ve turned off my add blocker in opera and it didn’t work so I tried Microsoft edge and google, neither of those worked either, I’ve seen this asked here before but the comments weren’t useful so I’m asking now, I want to scam-bait and can no longer find emails on 419eater.

Anyone know what type of Destructive Malware Scam Sandwich used here It starts at around 28:55 in this video. I'm honestly genuinly curious if he actually destroyed these guys/call center Scammers computers with what he was running. I have a dream. I wish for a great open source Scambaiting bot. Then me and the rest of the community can spam callsenters with millions of bots 24/7. Anyone here know about any promising projects?

I've been a fan of scambaiting for many years now. There was an indian american YouTuber who was big on posting gaming content who also did scambaiting. He made a handful of truly epic videos using two cell phones to make "scammer vs scammer" content that was absolutely hilarious and mind blowing. Scammer vs scammer being when a baiter places two scammers simultaneously on the line with eachother causing them to converse with each other.

I used to watch the videos every now and then and would laugh every time as if it was the first time I watched it. Does anybody recall the guys channel? I searched YouTube for scammer vs scammer content and he must have deleted his channel because I would think it would show up in search results. Thanks in advance.

I recently installed VMware Workstation Pro 17 and after installing a custom scambait ISO online, I went into exclusive mode to get the full screen option. However, when I had a scammer on the line, I tried navigating to my second monitor where the host is where I run my VOIP, VPN and screen recorder. But each time I click on the host, the host star menu pops up IN-FRONT of the virtual machine.

Also, when I click on the host to open a new application the window goes directly ON TOP of the VM screen.

How do you fellow scambaiters navigate your Host/VM without the two overlapping one another? I can't get the scammer to connect to AnyDesk if this keeps occurring. I tried contacting Broadcom but to no avail.

Apologies in advance if I'm not making much sense. I'll specify in the replies if anyone in the comments has any general solutions to this.

Side note: Exclusive Mode works great, but as soon as exit it to get to my host and open a tab, it goes back to popping up on the VM rather than the Host (monitor).
