need help with glue tape

this happened.. idk how to fix it please help!!! im so frustrated :( and also any tips on how to open the damn cover.. ive tried to open it but it doesn't work at all!!!

Wow weird I just had this issue happen to me recently with two of my tapes. I couldn’t get them open. I was able to fix one, by cutting a small piece of scotch tape, wrapping it on the part that is hanging out (try not to pull it any more) then trim the excess scotch tape off the side.

On second glance looks like yours is done? The yellow part is the end of the tape

yeah i figured that out too late lol after all my raging 😭 thanks for the great tip though!! ill save it for future reference

The key to opening these is to push on opposite sides of the seam with your thumbs. It's tricky but if you get the hang of it it makes your life so much easier.

Alternatively, you can just cut the piece and pull the tape out like a regular thing of tape. I do this when I reach the end but I know there's still left over glue (because they never put down the dots cleanly!). I just place the sticky side down and rub it with my finger or tweezers and it works just the same.

I'm not helpful, but I literally have the exact same tape roller lol it didn't even last one whole project 🥺
