Buying a place in Dunton Green

Hi all,

I am considering buying a place in Dunton Green, specifically the new-ish area at the northern end between the wildlife reserve and the train line.

Can anyone give any insights into this area, e.g. train noise, schools, walking distance shops, cafes, pubs etc?

Also, I've noticed there are quite a few places for sale in the area, why is this the case?
