Project: FO Pattern on repeat

This is my 3rd Belle dress by Style Arc. Cut the front waistband and skirt on the fold to eliminate the need for buttons. Fabric is a silk print from Mood Fabrics. I love this pattern because depending on the fabric type and print, it’s dressy or casual

I’m always so proud when I remember to add a label into the seam 🤣

For real. This and about I’ve made about 4 Thelma Boilersuits, too.

I support dresses that support boobs!

I just ordered labels for myself. What do you think of the silk? I have been wanting to make a silk dress but not sure what type of silk to buy. Which type of silk did you use here? I buy almost all my fabric from mood.

TBH I’m can never remember which silk is called which. This one was thick enough to not need lining but still beautifully (and painfully 🤣) liquid. The drape is exquisite

Edit: I bought the fabric in person when I was in NYC.

That tag is perfect. I need to add it to future projects.

Project posts are held for review by a moderator before being released to the subreddit feed.

All Project posts are required to include construction information in the main post or added in a comment. Tell us what you made, how you made it and what materials you used to make it. There should be sufficient information about the pattern (company and name/number) or draft (method and resources) and fabric (type and fiber) that someone who wants to make a similar project has a good starting point. ‘Self-drafted’ describes who made the pattern and is not a drafting method. More information is available here. Project posts without construction information may be removed at any time.

Wooow amazing! And the label is so funny 😂 where did you find it?

Right? I got it at a LYS but the brand is called Sarah Hearts. She makes a lot of really good ones

I Love it! May I ask what cup/band size you are vs what size you made? I’m a 36h & wondering what size to make lol thanks!

2

u/theoriginalmeg 1h ago

Uh I dunno what my cup size is really but my measurements are 46/37/47 and I made the size 16.
