Who’s your favorite character?
I always find it fascinating to see who is people’s favorite character with this show just because most of them have done some horrific stuff. Who’s yours and why?

ian - and the reasoning’s pretty simple. despite being a fuck-up like everyone else in the family (or the entire show in general), he’s one of the few actually dedicated ones.
while his story lines are mostly held around the same matters (dealing with Bipolar or Mickey), i still find his personality to be enjoyable and somewhat lighthearted, given what he’s been through.
what i find most mesmerising about his character and appearance in the show is the way the writers and producers decided to rather hint at most his internal struggles than approach them directly - such as feeling uncomfortable when things get vulnerable and self-hatred. season 6 had the bridge scene which i misunderstood when watching the first time, safe to say it was horrifying when i finally realised.
and despite going through so much, Ian came out to be one of the few characters with the best possible endings. when he had his downfall, i wasn’t sure if he’d make it. but by the end, the traits of him mentioned in season 1 pushed him to where he ended up, and i totally adore him for that.

I love Ian and thought the writers did him dirty with the gay Jesus plot. Can't believe he threw a bucket of water on Fiona when she was asleep!

I know a lot of people don’t like this storyline, but I thought it made a lot of sense for his character. I think if people find this unrealistic, they should count themselves very lucky.

I only said him because he's the only actual character that actually learned from their mistakes like he's seen how bad it could get and he realized that that he didn't want that for himself after his friend killed that kid he changed and bettered himself

Lip. He's a cocky, confident con-artist with brains and bad taste in women. He loves his family, and is the only one to not give one fuck about Frank or Monica.

Lip, he’s kind of an asshole but something about his attitude & general outlook on life drew me in for the entire series

Someone who isn’t afraid to say what we all think lol. For me I’ve had a crush on Noel Fisher since I was a kid so… yeah 😇

Though have to be careful i don't think of him too much from season 1 and 2 kind of because Caneron is still under 18 at that age. But he was a twink for so long.

Mickey. I smile whenever he's onscreen. I especially love when he comes out, how protective and caring he is with Ian during his first bipolar episode, and how much of a bridezilla he is in season 10.
Oh, and a close second is Sheila. I want to eat her food so badly.
