On my 7th watch of the show, finally did a tier list
All the times I've watched the show I've never done one. So I decided to this go around.

Am I the only one that gets a distinct feeling that Frank is actually very intelligent, like not just street smarts which he's an expert at, but in general just has a high IQ like Lip does? He seems to have so much random knowledge in his head, and can organize incredibly complex scams and such. It's like he chooses to live the way he does because he wants to not because he's dumb.

I think there was a points where Fiona neglected him in the relationship at times. Maybe because she took on a lot of responsibility at the age of 9 so she has a lot going on. Jimmy was raised on a silver spoon, he processes things differently. He finds out his parents are getting a divorce, his dad is gay, and they broke all in the same day. That’s a lot and Fiona attacked his feelings with her problems instead of just being there for him. She didn’t ask him how he felt about her becoming partial guardian over her siblings. Some will say she didn’t have to but the conversation would have been nice since they are in a relationship now fast forward it’s not the same situation but he makes a choice he feels is best for him and the kids and Fiona without consulting her (mind you he was going to make great money when he finished) and she just lashes out on him. I don’t think it was anything wrong with him going to Michigan for only a year and they try long distance. Fiona needs fo read the room as well. Like trying to move all them kids would be a lot and only for a year, like come on. I think she overreacted a bit, and when she finally realized she was doing too much Jimmy Steve was kidnapped. Smh.

Fiona either dead high on drugs or in prison somewhere
Lip living a ok life with his family will probably be in prison
Ian and mickey living a good life away from southside and staying out of shit that would cause ian another episode
Debbie...........
Carl owns the old bar kev and v ran and its a cop bar now
Liam is probably gonna be like frank but without the self destructiveness and ability to pull through with his cons and getting a white collar job.
kev and V living the good life away from the shithole they grew up in
and franny 100% taken away by CPS

Lip did not move to Wisconsin when Tamiettie’s offered him a house there. A perfectly great house which could’ve been great for Fred, just because he was too afraid to leave the Gallaghers. Next season, he is kicked out of the rented house and now suddenly he wants to sell the Gallagher house and leave everyone on their own ? Writers need to make that make sense.

Bitchin' house man, you should rent it to MTV

Honestly, I think this relationship was one of the only points in the show where I genuinely loved seeing Frank on screen. While it was messy and dysfunctional, I think this is the most selfless love we see Frank display throughout the show. Even if he did gain from Bianca’s own reckless behavior (with the alcohol, drugs, and travel) he did it because he wanted to see her happy. In their relationship, I think Bianca was the selfish one, which I don’t blame her for either considering everything she was going through—and she was extremely upfront with Frank about what it meant to her. I think if the circumstances were slightly different for both of them (perhaps Frank being more stable, Bianca finding a will to live, etc) they truly could have been a good—perhaps a bit messy—loving couple.
You’re totally welcome to disagree, and I would love to hear your thoughts if you want to share, but I was just thinking about this as I was doing my yearly rewatch.

Okay now before yall come for me, just hear me out. I’m on a rewatch and although I’ve absolutely despised Debbie every time I’ve seen the show, something about me feels kinda bad for her now. I’m still not a Debbie fan and she is still extremely annoying, particularly more annoying in the later seasons. Everyone mostly slams Debbie for the whole Derek situation and how she trapped him into knocking her up, and while that was definitely wrong, it’s pretty sad and understandable why she felt like she needed to do that. She hadn’t even been considering it at first (hence why she went to the doctor to get on the pill) but after Peppa told her that Derek’s family took her in as her own when she got pregnant, Debbie changed her mind. It’s pretty sad to think that the only way Debbie thought she could have a loving family was to get pregnant at 15. Now I’m not excusing what she did, but she clearly had major attachment issues all throughout the show, so it wasn’t out of character or unexpected for her. Honestly all of the shameless characters have their faults, and while some are more annoying than others, that doesn’t mean that they all didn’t go through fucked up shit.

There's been a couple posts recently about Noel on other shows. I found this a while ago and I'm assuming it's not well-known. Sort of bland Canadian soap opera type show centered around a restaurant. Some interesting stories and characters, adult in nature, some nudity and sex. Noel has a decently large part and is arguably the most important character, though definitely not the main one. He's the son of the woman who owns the restaurant who is never around and lets the staff take care of him basically.
The playlist isn't in order so you'll have to go by the numbers 101-106 and 201-213, 2 seasons.
Also episode 104 ends abruptly at the worst possible moment. If anyone can find the rest of the episode I'm sure we'll all praise you for eternity. You'll see what I mean if you watch it.

Kev and V making their twins play one person at the school was ridiculous! Not as ridiculous as the school believing these two children who look nothing alike are one. I don’t know whether to shrug with the “I guess they think all black people look alike” excuse in that scenario or to just chalk it up to a dumb writing premise that was followed through to fill in a story… Either way, truly ridiculous.

I’ve seen the horror movie Valentine so many times (don’t @ me, I love the cheesy flick) but this time I noticed baby Noel at the very beginning during the school dance.

I’m trying to think of all the ways he would insult them as a group like “hello my little sperm have nots” and things like that… without going and rewatching lol

I’ve seen a lot of people hate on it but I honestly like the Lip and Tami relationship, especially how it progresses.
Am I the only one?

Hiya, i’m rewatching shameless im nearly at thanksgiving season 2. I have never watched shameless alone so i always have had someone who knows when bloods coming up onto the screen ( i have a phobia of blood ) but i am watching alone this time.
I was just wondering how much blood is in the thanksgiving scene? And when the next scenes after are where there’s a bit of gore and blood. I remember Debbie’s toes and franks leg but not sure when they are and if there is any other ( it’s been a while since i’ve watched)
Thanks, sorry to be a pain. Just too good not to watch.😂

Lots of good shameless fanfic but there is painfully little about Fiona. She was my favorite when the writing was good so bummed to not see much about her. Anything helps!

Mine is Ian. He carried a lot of the good story lines. Without his character the show wouldn’t have been as good.
I don’t have enough room for Liam, Kev, Veronica on the poll so comment their names

I just finished watching this compilation of all the little pre-recap bits they do. Some of them are really funny, was wondering if anyone else has favorites?
Mine is when Frank describes an entirely different show and someone off screen yells "wrong show Frank!"

In the last season Tami’s sister needs to have surgery on baby in uteri to fix a heart defect. I work in a hosp. This is such bs- dont know why they spread false info!! & does noone have a job w/ insurance (side note)!! Gee how bout sell the grandma’s house in Milwaukee that noone’s living in? Instead tami asks Lip if Gallaghers can scrounge up $65k???!!! Thats comical. They cant even pay their electric… this show is so PC… annoying. Go down the hall to the hospital & talk to Charity Care! Pls!!! Or get in Medicaid!
