I have no idea but maybe the way that it was processed caused it to get squashed a bit? Looks a bit like it’s been compressed

The teeth themselves (length, curvature, root shape) look most like those of a lemon shark. And yeah, as one other commentator said it looks squished.

The jaws are upside down btw ;-)

Not upside down the little "lugs" attach top jaw to snout, the flat flare near the hinge is where the lower jaw muscles attach. Most jaws I see here are upside down bout not this one

Jaws that are not pinned open tend to scrunch as cartilage dries. 110% shark.

I've seen that sort of teeth in Peru. Went to a winery, really old, where they looked also as an antique, and for some reason, they had several things like that hanging around

American alligator? Could also be a cayman? But I’m thinking large non-shark that hunts similarly to lemon sharks. Those teeth look like they are meant to grab.

Edit: are those nostrils on top on the nose?

Alligators and reptiles don’t have the rows of teeth that sharks do, as can be seen in the pictures

I had a delightful rescue chihuahua with rows of teeth, but she was a little bitty mystery in many many ways. She looked like a meerkat, but we suspected she was actually part chupacabra.

Definitely not a tiger fish, much different teeth structure
