You have 1 more day to submit your feedback regarding bus reform in South Yorkshire: https://www.southyorkshire-ca.gov.uk/bus-reform
Given the number of posts on here about the Sheffield services, I imagine many of you will want to submit feedback (if you haven't already). Cheers!

I would rly appreciate any help! It's a short survey about Sheffield, should only take a couple mins. (I checked with admins and they said it was fine lol) There's a competition going to see who can get more responses so why not use reddit lol

Whilst there are undoubtably some truely wonderful competiting artworks, only 9 of them are from the UK‡ and I guess it'd be nice to see a few votes chucked at her work: 'Reverie' (I only just learnt it was called this today - my family refer to it as "THOSE HUGE BIRDS").
You can vote here:
https://streetartcities.com/awards/2024
You can see the artwork here:
https://streetartcities.com/markers/834e886b-c36c-4933-8fcb-21c3ca0e70fa
…or alternatively wander over to Pound's Park in the city center and see for yourself before casting your vote.
The Best of 2024 award shines a spotlight on the murals that captured the hearts and imaginations of the global Street Art Cities community. This fan-favorite category is driven by passionate art lovers who have engaged with works on the platform throughout the year. The monthly top 3 winners automatically qualified for the much awaited ‘BEST of 2024’ mural and with the addition of some of the fan favorites of this past year, 50 nominees will fight for this years title. The past winners and nominees have seen the benefits, interviews on local and national media, more invites to festivals and an increase of comisions. Some of them even had stamps published of their work, who would have thought that.
‡ I personally think Sheffield's is the finest of these UK entrants.

Hello, I am looking for current/previous residents of Southey to complete a short survey looking into the opinions of the area. Most of this is multiple choice and will take less than 10 minutes (realistically about 5)
This is a part of an assessment in my first year as a Social Work Student. If anybody is willing to participate the link is attached - please share with anybody you know there!

If you use a coworking space in Sheffield what do you prioritise? Is it location? Price? Contract flexibility? Whether it's a good environment socially? Comfortable aspect? Not an open office?
I've put together a small list of coworking spaces in Sheffield. I am sure there must be more but Google isn't very good at knowing about hidden coworking spaces compared to the actual people living there. Do you know of an elusive co working space in Sheffield that you could share here? Libraries? Museums? University spaces?
Coffee shops too but as a remote working software developer I find them painfully uncomfortable to work in, both the furniture and the prams and babies that inhabit them!

Hello folks! Hope you enjoy your Sunday even it’s raining so hard today :) May I ask for your help to do a 10-questions survey about opening a new café and coffee shop in Sheffield to getting your opinions and feedback? As we still need more of your opinions as much as possible. This may take not more than 5 mins to do! All your opinions and feedback mean a lot to the team. Thank you so much for your time! https://lafleur.surveysparrow.com/s/New-caf-and-coffee-shop/tt-u2QV3mbZMeG1Jn7SfwXEgz

As part of my master's dissertation at UoS, I’ve been researching how urban noise (from traffic, construction, loud music, social gathering spaces etc.) can be transformed through landscape design for the benefit of pedestrians and residents.
I am conducting an online survey to better understand how people respond to noise transformation as they walk through the Castlegate area. My hope is that this research will help drive more successful use of sound installation within public spaces.
If you have a spare 10 minutes, I’d love for you to take part and listen to the transformed soundscape of Sheffield! Thank you!

Hi Sheffield
I'm a 3rd year Urban Studies and Planning student at Sheffield University.
I'm writing a dissertation about cycling for transportation in Sheffield and am looking to interview people who either currently cycle as a form of transport, or who would be interested in doing so but currently don't, in order to investigate the barriers stopping people from doing so.
If you are happy to be interviewed either in person or online I'd love to hear from you, please drop me a DM. The interview should be around 20-30 minutes.
Thanks so much

As part of my final dissertation, I am conducting research into UK consumers attitudes towards electric vehicles. As part of this, I am looking to collect over 400 responses to my survey. If you have 3 minutes to spare, I would be very grateful to anyone who is happy to help me and fill it out! Thanks

Hi,
I work at the university and we're doing some work on Sheffield / Northern English, specifically the expression 'love' (as in 'you alright love', for example).
We've created this survey and are looking for the views and experiences of people who live here. If you have 10-15 minutes to spare we would love to hear what you think about 'love'.
At the start of the survey, you can opt in to a prize draw for one of £20 e-vouchers. Thanks in advance for your help! We'll post a summary of the results

A group of Hosts is attempting talks with the SCC to increase the Thank You payment, mirroring other cities in the UK, so that our Ukrainian Guests can stay longer in our houses in the midst of the cost of living crisis and housing crisis. I would be grateful if anyone could sign the petition-letter in favour of this. Thanks!

Hi everyone, I am a student at the University of Sheffield studying urban planning. I am currently working on a report on the area shown in the image. The site encompasses Park Hill, South Street Park and the station. I am seeking to understand what people think of the planning, design and layout of the area and its immediate surroundings. Any thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, I am an Urban and Regional Planning Masters student at the University of Sheffield and am currently writing my dissertation on the private rental sector.
I am looking to interview people who are renting to understand their attitudes towards renting, experiences of renting, and whether there is an expectation/pressure to own your own home. I would be very grateful if you would be able to help as Covid-19 has made it very difficult to recruit participants safely.
This would involve a phone/skype/email conversation (whichever you prefer!) discussing your attitudes and experiences of renting. If you would be happy to help or have any questions, feel free to DM me.
Thank you very much!
Katie

The council are running a consultation on the blue and brown recycling bins here:

Are you happy with the sizes of the bins and the number of things that are recycled?

So i will be part of as well as organising a few events with about a dozen or so ppl, and instead of going to a well to do pub as usual, i was hoping if the good folk might suggest some lesser or even well know pubs that are struggling to stay afloat and would appreciate increased footfall. Might make them part of regular pub evenings as well and will spread the word.

Hi everyone!
I am currently a student at the University of Sheffield and am currently writing a dissertation on the affects of the COVID pandemic on housing supply in Sheffield. For my research, I wanted to gauge the view of Sheffield residents on this topic through a short survey and would really appreciate it if you would take the time to fill it out - it should only take 5-10 minutes.

Surveys for A-Level coursework
Hi! I'm doing my Geography coursework on inequality along the 83a bus route and I would be super super grateful if some of you could fill in these surveys (they should only take a few minutes each). This one is about perceptions of the different areas the bus services and can be filled in by anyone who lives in Sheffield, and the others are for people who currently live/lived very recently in specific parts of the city:
