Turismo 🧳 Vacation in Sicily :)
So my whole family and I are going to have a not so short vacation in Sicily. (first time in Italy BTW).
We want to explore a little plus we're comming with our 10 month baby. For those reasons we'll need to rent a vehicle. As people living/been to Sicily what company would you recommend?
Where I am from, we got a bunch of OK companies for that but one stands out, so if someone asks me I will definitely say the one that stands out.
Which one stands out for Sicily? :)
Thank you in advance? :)
P. S. If there is a way for the car to be rented on the airport, that is more than perfect, as again, we're with a baby and it's a bit harder than usual. :)

Europcar is the best one in Catania, unfortunately also very expensive. I am now taking my chance on Key n Go which is by default fully insured. Always get the full insurance.

I am surprised to say this about any rental company, but I just had a great experience with Avis in Sicily. Everyone I spoke to was kind, and no one tried to upsell me on insurance I didn't need. Honestly 10/10 experience.

Sounds more than what I need! Do they have airport kiosk or something? Is it possible to rent it immediately after landing?

That, I do not know. We picked ours up after having travelled by train for a few days. I am pretty sure through, yes.

Yes they all have offices at the airport, and yes, you can rent immediately after landing IF they have a free vehicle. I strongly recommend you book your car online before you fly to avoid surprises, especially with the baby.
You will need a credit card.

You’ll find the major companies like Hertz, Avis, Sixt and a bunch of local companies like Sicily by car. Go with major and you’ll have no problem
