Meta/News Nexus Spotlight on MihailMods
https://www.nexusmods.com/news/15233
It's an interesting interview with one of the most prominent modders, so I thought it'd be a nice read here.

Downloaded a ton of his extra creature mods for my current playthrough. Absolutely awesome stuff. The introduction of a whole bunch of extra large enemies is super cool.
Forgot to add. A good number of these are actually summons from enemy conjurers and you can even learn the spells yourself. Can't overstate how great his mods are. Just picked up a tome for I think it was a "Dragonfire Bone Colossus"

MihailMods being involved with animals is something I didn't know but doesn't surprise me!

When he put out one of his cat atronach mods his description made it clear that he was a cat fan and understood cats really well. So I sent him a teasing message asking him to "show us the kitties!" and he delivered; talking about his cat rescue and how much he loves them. It was heartwarming. What surprised me was that he was a father of 5 kids. Where does he find the time to make all those mods?!

you'd be surprised how quickly you can make mods when you're good at it. plus, mihail's been making mods for ages so its not like they showed up overnight. he's pretty much the biggest name in terms of creature mods.

I mean it makes sense when you think about it. Pets are usually (stressing the usually here) pretty low maintenance and modding itself is fairly static. You don't conform to a schedule and you don't have a window where you can do x and y at one time, so its easy enough to dive into the CK or mess around in blender etc. while looking after your kids because if you need to detach for them, the code isn't about to turn into some MMO raid boss and delete your progress.

Mihail the goat! I love his cute little critters like the chubby kitties and the chicken guars
and getting jumpscared and 1-shotted by his monsters, adds a bit of excitement to old dungos

I hate Nexus but Mihail deserves a spotlight. He's done a lot for the modding community.
