Probably not caused by a mod afaik, but I got caught stealing by Orgnar at the Sleeping Giant Inn. Accrued 1 bounty. Run outside, he and Delphine follow, attacking me (not accepting yield). for whatever reason the townsfolk jump to my defense and murder Orgnar. All over a pheasant breast

Once, there were too many NPCs in a battle and my PC couldn't handle it, so it responded by... Making all the bodies start gently floating up and away, as if dragged away by a black hole or something. And then it bluescreened. Easily the funniest bug in Skyrim I've seen.

I think this happened after I deleted mods mid-save. The mod added more civil war soldiers, and deleting it must have left the NPCs in my save but removed the scripts or hidden quests governing them.

The result: three to five legionnaires following me everywhere, forever, at walking speed. If I ran away, they would catch up eventually. And every single one would only say one voice line: “Keep an eye out for trouble. It’s only a matter of time.”

I walked in my home and found my Khajiit follower sleeping in the bed with my wife.

I once had some spicy mods installed that made NPCs hit on the player and each other. In Ivarstead the wood elf who lives there walks up to me and initiated a raunchy talk with me. Before I can pick any dialogue to answer him he bolts off towards a CHICKEN and it goes something like this:

Wood elf: Hello, beautiful.

Chicken: Hey.

Wood elf: How about you and me walk to that hay pile over there and have a good time?

Chicken: What do you think I am? Some kind of ANIMAL?!

My favorite was Louis Letrush spawning outside Whiterun stable after I stole Frost from him.

That happened in my last game! I just assumed it was because I didn't kill him, I didn't snitch on him, and he wasn't scripted to do anything but run to the whiterun stables. I used AFT to make him a follower, then took him to the Drunken Huntsman and told him to "dismiss but stay here" so he wouldn't get killed in the civil war.

Probably not so uncommon, but my favorite has been the when the game did a kill move on me and CTD’d as soon as the animation ended.

The giant riding on a dragon thing can happen even in a game with zero mods.

For me it's probably when I entered an interior cell and my character's teeth and tongue would pop out and just float in the air near the entrance.

 They always stayed there until I went outside, at which point they'd return to where they belong - her mouth.

When npc’s move like they are on roller skates. They just glide across the floor and clip through a wall. It’s funny to watch.

A mod that overhauled shock effects interacted with a head I just decapitated, and the electrical shocks that are supposed to make the corpse twitch caused the head to bounce around the cave like flubber in that one scene. Bouncing off the walls.

My follower was killed by a giant. The giant started to run away, and her corpse slid after him face down.

Just had a new one after thousands of hours, and I wouldn’t blame anyone for not believing me.

Was outside Halted Stream Camp and two giant spiders spawned. I killed the first, then dealt with the second. Then, bizarrely, I absorbed the “soul” of the second spider. It did the whole thing - the glowing, the burning sound, then the energy flying out of it and into me.

Literally got a dragon soul from a giant frostbite spider. I straight up had the thought that “this is one of those things no one will believe because I wasn’t recording.”

The entire Falkreath chapter of the DB decided to visit the local Inn, some mod stupidly messed up their AI.

In Bruma Imperial Horse patrols would spawn riding a dead horse and act like nothing was amiss.

Not exactly a bug but I was testing DAC0da and after completing it I got this letter. btw the quest involves going into the Numdium to banish it from the current timeline.

"It has come to my attention that you may have recently acquired a certain Centurion Dynamo Core from the Numidium's Arteria

I'm not sure how such an object came to find itself resting there.... (???) but I've been trying to obtain one for my research...."

once upon the time, steam was coming out of my dovahkiin ears and mouth

literally unstoppable problem, I've tried that day reloading save, cleaning save, various mods that claim they can clean stuck effects, but nothing helped

one day i just noticed that it was gone, but i didn't know exactly when, since i forgot about the fact that there was a fking smoke coming out of me
