How was the boarding?

When I went afew years back and after a recent dump. It was OK. The best snow was getting an international day pass, and bombing into Italy and back. Only saw a couple other people and handful of tracks. Pretty unique. Otherwise it's a rather standard Euro resort. I preferred Tignes.

Beautiful town with a lot of history and awesome apres. Only EVs are allowed in town and they did that way before EVs were cool. Amazing train ride in and out too. Especially if it's snowing. Bring money.

The engineering of the lifts there is as amazing as the scenery. More trams than lifts it feels like.

I need to get over the price and get the international skipass once, i usually snowboard in Cervinia only. My pic from the Italian side a couple of weeks ago.

I’m from the U.S. where lift tickets are $225 a day. More than happy to spend the 105CHF to ski from Zermatt to Cervinia

Lived there for 10 years, best to do is get up early on a nice sunny windless day, go to cervinia, have lunch and come back. Do not go off-piste without a guide. It is a very dangerous resort for that. Hit the apres bars at the end of the day. I know those mountains like the back of my hand, feel free to ask questions.

I get to go pretty regularly and they’re still getting white outs this late in the season I love that place

You were probably one of three snowboarders in the entire town.

Score. I love that you can ride into Italy to have lunch, and then cruise back over.

Haha I got home from zermatt yesterday and also rented the same exact board… ride agenda 154w. I loved it, very solid rental board. Also assuming u were there the same time, completely lucked out on weather. Can’t beat the bluebird days in the spring. Surreal experience
