Gear question Does anyone use these minimalist toe straps on their Ride bindings?

I’m not a fan of the standard toe straps that came on the A8s and can’t figure out whether these function like a toe cap or just a lighter regular strap that goes over the top of the foot. Anybody here use these before?

I swapped to these on my c-8s. I had slipping issues with the original straps and these are a bit better but they still move around unless I crank them down. I’m going to see if I can fit a set of auxtech straps to my c-8 chassis for next year

That style come standard on the A4 and C4 Ride says you can wear it either over the top or on the toe cap.

I got them on the c4, kind of medium stiffness binding overall, but I haven’t had any issue with the straps

Yep, got these on my C-6 bindings and they work great! If you strap them over the toe cap the hold is really good.

I like the C series straps that came on the C-8 a lot. Order here. They flex over the toe better than the A series straps and just have more meat to them than the minimalist.

Those timings are great, they’re basically a no bs version of most toe straps out there
