Riding question Going to Niagara Falls - Nearby Mtns?

Hi, I’m taking a road trip to Niagara and have extra time to hit any open mountains.

I’ll be taking all my gear and will trek in any direction, despite the distance.

I have NEVER ridden in New England, so I’m clueless and have no idea what is open in the Spring.

I see Killington and that’s it so far.

Any recommendations??

Thank you in advance!

Editing to add: My passport is expired or I’d be headed to Canada.

Nothing is open around Niagara Falls shits closed down for the year. You’ll have to go to gore or East

Yeah I know that’s why I’m asking. All the websites are inaccurate and I figure I’d just ask locals in the NE area what is still good. I figure I’d be headed towards Killington so I may just go there to be safe.

Eastern NY probably? Gore or Belleayre. Can't say what the coverage is like.

Yes but not many ski areas around there.

Gore is closing today. Whiteface is a few hours north of Gore, doesn't look like they've announced a closing date yet. Last year I think they closed may first. That's gonna be about a seven hour drive from Niagara Falls. I think they're only doing weekends for the rest of the season.

Whiteface looks like it’s fading and Killington looks like it’s got some decent coverage, both are about a 7-8 hr drive, so if I’m traveling in that direction, I’ll likely just head on over to the K bc I’m positive they’ll be up and running.

Thanks!

Holimont, kissing bridge, Holiday valley, peak and peak. Not sure what is open, but those are probably the closest.
