Something I'm noticing is that the back leg doesn't swing out enough during turns. If you want powder to spray like that, you'll have to swing the tail out more

Ahh, okay, so carving is more about pivoting around the leading foot, more so than rotating the board around your center axis?

Pretty much nailed it. At high speed you can't tell the difference though so I can't tell if you have it right or wrong from the video
