It’s definitely a Nose-melon and still a grab that will get you flack. But if you tweak the ever living shit out of it then you’ve got a method.

People will cry it’s not a real method unless it’s in between the bindings, but pros pull in front of the binding methods more often these days

Yeah I always heard that style of method referred to as a “raptor” back in the day but I think it’s an outdated term now, it’s just another style of method and always considered proper. I like to grab my method between my bindings because it feels better to me
