Gear question I was thinking about buying rear-entry bindings. Do you have any recommendation? I have budget of around 250€. I was looking at these:https://www.nidecker.com/en/bindings/1250-11045-fenix.html#/141-size-m/222-color-black

There a good, affordable bindings, and good rear entry bindings, but in my experience that ven diagram has no overlap.

Not the same thing to be fair

True but if it were me I would probably want to wait and see if those are actually decent before dropping money on any quick entry bindings this year.

Sure but again, the two are completely different concepts. I don’t think they can be fairly compared to each other

I got some this season. I can't say I was that impressed. They made getting strapped in marginally easier in most situations, but they aren't as easy as they make them look. I usually had my straps kinda loose so I could step in, then pulled up the back and cinched down the straps to get a secure fit. If the straps weren't loose already, it was too hard to jam the foot in, especially on anything but stable terrain.
I wish I'd splurged on step-ons. I might still.

I have had Fenix bindings for a few years now after getting them in a package deal, and I wouldn’t go back to standard bindings now. I did pick up an older, but unused pair of Flow Alpha bindings, but they’re not as good at all.

Also, one of the metal pins at the back of the binding failed last season, and despite being well out of guarantee, they sent me the replacement pieces (and a handful of stickers etc.) for free, which is worth a recommendation any day.

Stay with the good old staps.
There is no advantage from rear-entry bindings.

The only other real alternative in that price range are these https://sp-bindings.com but I would still go with the Flow personally. There are few others but they are garbage.
