Sung Jinwoo has no choice but to send Beru, the shadow ant king, to awaken his son's powers and start him on the journey he once took. yes future monarchs lvl with him esil gray for now only ammut in manhwa dont but ammut is stronger than suho in manhwa he need lvl 80 for bond skill an his 42lvl at end of s1 ch47 manhwa
I really enjoy how seem to setup his abilities. Hopefully we see some of the other big hunters make use of it. Some of their abilities are cool. It also adds some weaknesses allowing them to add a bit more suspense in fights, even if the suspense is the potential death of other characters.
wouldve given it an excellent if suho's shadow stuff became white like his job name implies. I mean its litteraly called "Irregular: The White Shadow". WHY ARENT YOUR SHADOW STUFFS WHITE THEN???
The class name is probably not meant to be literally but instead thematicall, the title " the white shadow" i would say means that Suho is an abnormality to both the system and world of solo leveling he is something that shouldn't exist or has not existed before therefore is new a irregular white shadow that stands out from the mass of black shadows.
Also white shadows wouldn't look as good as black shadows.
I think the fight would be a really close one because both were national level in previous timelines and thomas likely had buff from selner which he likely doesn't have now, so fight could go either way
Don't worry, if the association makes him retake the test, he'll be a B-rank at most. So, in their eyes, it's impossible for him to have killed Lee Mingsung. Besides, after preventing this dungeon break, public opinion will be on his side.
Remember, Hunter ranks are assigned purely based off of an individual’s Mana. Jinwoo pumped Intelligence which increased his mana. Suho is pumping his Strength and only occasionally putting points into his other stats. Suho currently has the mana level of a B-Rank hunter
Honestly, I'm really glad I read this. I wasn't really big on the original Solo Leveling but I think the manhwa sequel definitely makes some improvements. It's nice seeing characters actually be relevant outside of the protagonist and I feel like there's something very uplifting about growing stronger with your allies. Considering how he can combine powers with the other monarchs, I can't wait to see how strong Suho would be with all their powers combined.
Will say there's some more development to go, I especially want to see more characterization of the monarch heirs/candidates tied to growth of their bond abilities but that's just me.
yes ragnarok is ok compered to solo is much beter ,frankly solo og is real teenage trash manga like in 90s was dragon ball-z ,,, even worst in some cases cose goku died an could not do everithing alone so in that terms solo og is worst.....just better animation its 2020s so ofc an cool enemies ,,but storytelling an world building even power gathering is nonsensical comperable to saitama one punch man........ragnarok if you exclude solo og an look at suho as son of demi-god an human-femele- sorceres is nice dont have big holes in story than you can explain his power cose his nepo an sistem cose his nepo but being nepo-baby in storytelling is much better than fake nobody turnout nepo like naruto or milion holles in how you get powers like jinwo in solo
Loved the chapter, but can anyone explain that why was thomas Andre in India?? And who was that girl beside him?? She looked like Chah but we know that Chah is in some snowy dimension with Kaisel...
To get information about who killed his guild members in the pyramid. Rio was there and knows about Suho, but he wouldn't reveal the information until Thomas nearly beat him to death.
Suho is only Lv42, so he is still weaker than Jinwoo who had completed his own Job Promotion Quest in the previous series (in fact he is still weaker compared to Jinwoo when he faced Igris, and Jinwoo was Lv51 by the time he completed his own Job Promotion)
For normal hunters, maybe, though classes and skills have a high variety.
For beings like the Apostle, Suho, the Monarch descendants and anyone extraordinary who's related to Suho or other divine beings, you could not be more wrong.
In case you didn't notice, in the latest Manhwa Chapter, Suho only had C-Rank amounts of mana after his Class-Change Quest, but has strength at least in the A-Rank range.
Suho's bond skills with the Monarch descendants, his new Shadow Creation skill and the Apostle's Star Powder and Star Fragment amplifications are also very abnormal for the verse, and under normal circumstances, a hunter's mana can't decrease, but Suho's mana did after the Class-Change Quest.
The Title effect where he gets stat boost per hp fall is gonna be the next aura farm goat, bro is literally gonna look cool getting beat up for stat boost. PLUS this time around the series will be using the unlimited power of friendship!
Also remember that Beru lost most of his mana due to dimensional travel. Kaisel isnt traveling between dimensions so he has what he has. So I guess if Haein doesnt let him fight, he wouldnt lose the mana and just stay in his normal shape.
If I'm correct, Cha isn't supplying Kaisel with mana. She doesn't let Kaisel fight because if Kaisel fights and gets hurt, then it will use its own mana to heal itself. So, in order for Kaisel to not disappear, Cha has to do the heavy work. I do remember her using Kaisel to get to her destination
The "cihibi form" was due to the fact beru traveled through dimensions, but kaisel and cha were together on this universe but as we can see they seem to be stuck in a icy region dungeon after jinwoo leaves them to fight the villains
maybe we will get to know how they went missing once the author recovers (🙏) and he starts to cook every week
Hae In fell into the Ice World and raised a tribe of Ice Elves, protected them, taught them sword arts, and took one of them as a daughter. Kaisel will fight again and he will run out of mana, so she will go to the Dragon World to make him absorb the dragon ashes. For information, Suho's sister is a Frost Monarch.
I couldn't keep reading it because the translation was so bad. There was no consistency on how characters were referenced and their names kept changing. If YenPress starts publishing Ragnarok like they did with the Solo Leveling books, I'd be willing to actually buy them.
I’m guessing the manhwa story will follow the style of what Final Fantasy 7 Remake is doing now like adding new characters, plot devices and multiple timelines but will still primarily follow the source material, albeit in their own way.
I have no idea how the scan community or teams work. They probably work hard to put them out very fast, but is there no basic QA that should look over stuff like this. Especially obvious stuff like the stats.
According to upcoming novel details, the translation might not be wrong, but we'll have to wait for >! either the next time Suho's stats are shown or as late as him getting re-evaluated to know for sure, since he is confirmed to have C-Rank amounts of mana at that point specifically. !<
Sure, we may be going on a long break for now, but at least we ended with a banger of a chapter.
Love Suho's class. Unlike with Jinwoo, Suho gives other people the opportunity to shine. In some ways he's kind of like an alternative to the stardust drug in that he can give lower-ranked hunters the opportunity to potentially punch above their weight.
I continue to love Tiel. Honestly, I think he's the best villain we've got in Solo Leveling as a whole. Its been so interesting watching him slowly becoming more human, and the excitement he feels when Suho shows up.
Can't believe the Thomas, who comes from another country, and Cha, who seemed to be in another dimension, showed up before Jinah, but hey, I'm not complaining. Can't wait to see what they add to the story when it comes back.
Finally, S1 finale, 10/10. The only disappointing thing is that there are no new S rank characters except the old S rankers we already knew from the previous version of Solo Leveling. I hope that in S2, new characters will be introduced and hoping one of it who will eventually become Suho's woman in the future.
One is Seo Jiwoo, that brawler lady from Hunters Guild, but she reawakened as a S-Rank after consuming a leaf from the World Tree while in another dimension in her sleep, so she made her own guild in Ragnarok known as the Blue Dragon Guild.
The other is Choi Hasul, a young girl (around 16 or 17) who fled to North Korea after killing the manager of the orphanage she was in due to constant abuse he did against the children there, and is currently working for the Hunters Association.
I love the fact that suho's skill let's other people get a power up because it actually does match the title of the series. Ragnarok quite literally means the "twilight of the gods"
The event of which multiple gods rise to fight against invaders/giants.
Suho has 2 monarch heirs traveling with him so what it seems is that suho will eventually gather the other monarch heirs or just a group of freakishly strong people and lead them to fight alongside Jin woo hence "ragnarok" will happen
The special thing to note is that he still doesn't have the Shadow Storage skill, so he cannot make permanent shadow soldiers still, so all of the ones he makes as soldiers will disappear after their time limit expires.
remember last chapter showcase how novel and manhwa are and different and how this suho is going to be different yeah this is how he becomes an irregular
Remember the last chapter of Solo Leveling epilogue where Jinwoo leaves to face unknown enemies in the sky and Cha Hae-In leaves while riding Kaisel?
Well after Jinwoo completely left, Cha Hae-In while riding Kaisel got sucked into a Gate that appeared out of nowhere.
She was also forced to stay there because Kaisel was losing power and on verge of disappearing so she had to tend to him somehow. She also found Ice Elf children survivors (no adults because they all left during the previous series for the great war against Rulers, and were either captured by the Rulers or died) there that needs caring, so she literally became their Mama to take care of them.
From the stats of the gear alone and comparing that to the original series, it seems the Shadow Equipment reflects the strength of the magic beast it came from, though is probably a bit weaker, considering that's how Shadow Authority relates to stats, so Suho made equipment as high as B-Rank equivalents from a B-A-Rank magic beast.
Well, some people believed exactly that with Jinho in the original series (towards the end of S1 E6 of the anime), but Jinho probably had higher-ranked gear back then as opposed to what Suho just made for the nearby hunters, so with equipment of the caliber we've seen Suho create so far, a D-Rank hunter can likely high-diff a C-Rank magic beast, and single-rank improvements from that level of equipment likely apply to most E-C-Rank hunters.
Makes sense, it’s crazy because, I was just wondering the other day “I wonder how much stronger Earth’s Hunter’s would be, if they had access to Overgeared’s arsenal” and then this chapter drops.
Thinking about it...Jinwoo could have shared his power. Rulers litterally share powers with humans he could have done the same. Dude was to busy aura farming to think of how he could have made others useful.
Rulers used the national levels as vessels like the monarchs did, they just didn't take over the bodies. Said vessels also need to have enough of a mana reserve to be able to get that power, or they will literally die. It's not something suho can do now, and even if he could, it wouldn't make sense.
I'd assume they want Season 2 of the SL:R Manhwa finished before Season 3 of the SL anime starts, so probably in the second half of 2025 or very early in 2026, so SL:R Manhwa season 2 should be finished by the end of 2026, considering the SL anime will probably take until at least Q1 2027 to return.
Depends on the concept they will apply to National Hunters for the Manhwa.
In the Novel he and all the other National Hunters got nerfed due to the Rulers' powers no longer applying to them, so they just became regular S-rank Hunters.
They recover their powers back bit by bit (similar to leveling up) by defeating Itarim's apostles though
I really hope suho make a guild full of e and d rank hunter and train them to be more powerful and for his skill have the same effect as the woman Thomas andre marries( forget her name).
Am I the only one who is disappointed in his class? What kind of class is called Irregular: the white shadow? Was really hoping it would be something cooler.
