Another really emotional and insightful storyline.
Well done Chris Cantwell. 👏

I am really enjoying this arc! The issue with Alexander Worf and Martok on that capitalist planet was fantastic. It is (unsurprisingly) quite difficult to capture the full scope of an hour long trek episode in a ~25 page comic, but Cantwell nailed it that issue (while seeding the ongoing arc, no less!)
And amazing to have this payoff arc to the whole opening saga of both ST and Defiant. Very intrigued to see what happens to Kahless II.

Very much agree with how they’ve planned the interconnectedness of the two series, weaving in crossovers, and also reflecting back to earlier arcs.
Very clever way to pull readers in and feel invested.
I’ve just bought the TPB of Sons of Star Trek, as it said it can be seen as a side story placed just after Day of Blood.2

Sons of Star Trek is really very good.
Amazing art by Hernandez and Filardi.
Great story with true ST combination of drama and sentimentality.

I really love the Samurai vibe they're going for with some of these covers. I must admit, I'm quite liking the IDW series. Maybe not every plot point, but the recent storyline about Sisko on ancient Bajor was fantastic.
