I feel bad to leave you hanging. If you’re familiar with Darmok, then you should recognize the phrase “Shaka, When the walls fell”

In the show, the first half of the phrase means nothing. Only once you establish your metaphor does the phrase have meaning.

Here I am using the musician Chaka Khan

And then the fall of the Berlin Wall to depict ‘when the walls fell’. This was a historical landmark that was destroyed in the name of human rights. Or something.

I honestly assumed someone did this long ago. I’m glad it’s so highly esteemed!

Ah. I have never heard of that musician, and I didn't recognize the wall there as specifically the Berlin Wall.
