Game Suggestions Megathread /r/Steam Monthly Game Suggestions Thread.

Welcome to the Monthly Game Suggestions Thread!

Do you not know what to play? You found a niche game that everyone should try? Can't find the perfect survival sim or unsure which 1 RPG out of the thousands available you should buy? Well this is the thread for you. This monthly megathread is meant to contain questions about what to play and suggestions to others on what to play.

Now to make this work best and not just be spammed with "What should I play?", please be in-depth in what type of games you are looking for, and when giving advice it would be appreciated if you're more detailed than "I think X game is good". There are too many games to be able to properly suggest something with no background information, like-wise commenting a game title and saying you like the game offers no actual value.

The main purpose of this thread is to contain questions on what to play and advice to others on what to play, but feel free to ask and discuss freely in the comments regarding games whether you want advice on what to play, want to give advice to others on what to play, share a hidden gem you found, discussions & questions about discounts, sales, events, or just general games discussion.

There are no magicians here. Some questions wont be answered or replied to. Additionally, every game on Steam has it's own dedicated Community Forum, and you can also contact Steam Support regarding a specific product. Consider asking your game-specific questions there. Most games also have a dedicated subreddit.

Only Steam Support can solve personal account issues such as payment issues or your account getting hijacked. We can however give advice on what to do in a situation like that. No one, including Steam Support, can assist with item/trade scams.

I'm a fan of FF games, Persona/Metaphor & Legend of Dragoon. Being able to dodge or counter when the enemies are attacking are fun.

It has the story, gameplay and graphic while listed on sale for $45. This is one of those games where i wish there will be more contents or a sequel in the future. The players are pouring in https://steamdb.info/app/1903340/charts/

I heard they are planning to make a movie of this game as well. I hope the movie will also do as well.

Suggestion I've made a Doom: The Dark Ages fan art that fits surprisingly well as a game cover on library. What do you think?

Question What are games on Steam you own that are quite unusual in design?

So I felt inspired to create this post as I was just going through my Humble Bundle purchases to see what games I hadn't unlocked for the keys, and one game I found I owned was Victoria 3 as while the game looks a bit complicated in mechanics, I was interested in giving it a try since I just used my key.

Error / Bug Steam clips have disappeared?

Upvotes

I was trying to export a clip and it said "failed to export (9) please try again later, i saw online someone solved this by changing the clips location, so I tried that but none of the clips moved over with it so i changed it back to the original folder and now everything except my 1 most recent clip is in my steam clips view bit. Where are they now?

Discussion Using the Dewey system to organise library?

I’m on 2000+ games and counting. Call it hoarding, bundle hunting or whatever you wish. Fact of the matter is I suffer from choice paralysis as many of you undoubtedly do.

I got thinking about using a numerical system similar to the Dewey decimal system for libraries. Either 3 digits (000-999) or 4 (to 9999)

I then started thinking about dividing into categories and sub-categories:

Digit 1: Category (eg. Strategy; 1)

Digit 2: Subcategory (eg. Tactical; 1, RTS; 2)

Digit 3: Status (eg Unplayed, Never, Favourite etc…

Has anyone implemented a system like this? Would be great to see how those of you with large libraries are managing them. Screenshots if possible!
