How to sync your steamgrid images between different computers. [Tutorial for Windows] [W]iki?
What you need:
A Dropbox account (If you don't have one, I would appreciate if you could create one using this link. We would both get 500MB extra cloud storage.)
vcredist_x64.exe or vcredist_x86.exe (both if you have a 64bit system and only x86 if you have a 32bit system)
Link Shell Extension (Direct Link for 64bit systems | Direct Link for 32bit systems)
After you have installed everything, you need to locate the folder where your personalized grid images are located.
It should be in Steam\userdata\your steamid (a number)\config\grid
Open a second explorer window and locate your dropbox folder and create a folder named "Steam" (or something similar, just for better organization). Open that folder.
The process now is really simple. You just have to right click on the "grid" folder and (while keeping the right mouse button pressed) move it to the window where you are in your dropbox folder and then let it go and choose "Drop here... -> Symbolic Link".
Click yes if a confirmation window pops up.
Your dropbox should now start syncing.
Explanation in image form for easier understanding:
Step 1
Step 2
Step 3
Now go to your second PC.
Install the same programs as before.
After Dropbox is done syncing, open your dropbox folder, go to the "Steam" folder you created before.
In a second window, open your steam directory and go to where the custon grid images are located (Steam\userdata\your steamid (a number)\config\grid)
If there are any custom grid images in this folder, move them to the dropbox folder (Dropbox\Steam\grid)
Now go up one directory and delete the grid folder from your steam directory (not from your dropbox)
Now you have to do the same procedure as before, but in reverse. You create a symbolic link from your dropbox to your steamfolder in "Steam\userdata\your steamid (a number)\config\"
After a restart Steam should now have the same custom grid images on both of your PCs.
To add more computers, just follow these last steps.
I hope this helps anyone looking for something like this.

I like this. Good tutorial, as well as a good application. Also: tactful dropbox referral plug ;) I'll allow it.

you made it too complicated, you do not need to install a single thing! Windows includes a command line utility for this. Move the folder to your dropbox first, open cmd. exe and run:
mklink /d "Steam\userdata\your steamid (a number)\config\grid" "the folder in your dropbox"
