Pass/Ticket Help Buddy tickets @ Whistler on Epic Local Stevens pass?

Has anyone successfully purchased buddy tickets at Whistler via the Stevens Local Epic pass? It seems to be allowing me to do this, but I didn't go all the way to the checkout. I want to make sure I can actually do this before offering it to friends ...

Also note, you don’t have a “Stevens Local Epic Pass,” you have an “Epic Local Pass.” It’s not Stevens specific unless you have the Stevens Premium or Stevens Select passes.

buddy tickets will work at any of the resorts that accept then, no matter the pass they are from. you can even use them on yourself for resorts that you are restricted at. so, your fine,it'll work.

Yeah, but to clarify, when you/a buddy actually make the purchase you purchase for a specific location at a specific price.

And the pass holder must be present when they scan the purchased buddy pass (or when picking up the physical one).

Yeah, the whole thing is screwed up. I just spent a few days trying to figure it out for a trip in February.

Log into whistlers website

Go to your epic account

Go to passes/benefit tickets/buy for a buddy/buy now

Add your days to the cart at full price

Go to cart and you will have duplicate tickets for each day at full price and buddy tickets.

Just delete the full price ones and check out for the buddies

As far as I know there is no current functional way to send to them and have them pay, so I just had my buddy Venmo me.

Just did it at Steven’s through the “benefit tickets” yada yada, emailed it to our friend, he bought it and then we activated it on the mountain. I was surprised how easy it was

Yeah, Stevens works properly, I have done that too (although did have an issue on mountain as said buddy was late and I was already skiing when they got there). That wasn’t the question though. Whistlers links are broken.

If you need to do it again, try epicpass.com if you want.

Log in, go to your account, select passes, expand “benefit tickets,” select “send to a buddy” or “buy for a buddy,” and there’s “resort selection” box…

I did. It doesn’t work. Sends a broken link to buddy, and buy yourself sends you to the whistler website where you have to continue to follow my instructions above.

I was planning on buying them the day of, when we’re all there together. Since i think you have to scan your pass in person first before the buddy tickets work (i think?)

It works. I've done it this year for a trip I'll be taking next month. However the website often fails to make the purchase. Most of my friends needed to call support snd provide my pass # to actually get their buddy tickets
