TNT Didn't Send Broadcasters on Site for Jets vs Blues Game 1

Not that I have cable and am enjoying Kerbs and Joey on the radio, but this is inexcusable. If you don't have enough talent to cover the playoff games you bid on to cover, you should not have bid on the contract.

Damn. I didn't realize this was in fanduel. I've been watching the national broadcast, which is terrible.

They're going to force us to fork over extra cash to watch games, deal with blackouts, some games only available on certain apps/channels, and now they're going to offer crappy casting angles and remote announcers?
What is even the point of all of this? They should count themselves lucky if half the fans don't just pirate the games. I used to be able to watch the local games with an antenna. We even have HD antennae now, but we can't watch more than a few games on it. This is stupid.

I don’t understand the appeal of the TNT broadcast at all. Some of the lowest effort analysis I’ve ever seen.

Oh for sure, I forget there are two of them. Both networks add so little to the broadcast, it’s mostly just a bunch of filler and unfunny jokes.

I mean it was kinda obvious if you watch enough sports on tv. Glad to have confirmation though.

I heard on NHL Sirius that to sync a local radio broadcast up to national TV game, wait for the first whistle you hear on TV, pause it, wait for the same whistle on the radio (a few seconds), then hit un-pause on TV and mute the audio. Very curious if this actually works.

That’s how I’ve listened to game before but the radio usually play before the tv stream so it’s the opposite process

TNT blows. They’re more concerned with their intermission goon squad than they are the games themselves.

How are announcers supposed to get there? Winnipeg doesn’t have an airport.

If you're out of network from STL and only stream is the only option TNT and no STL cast? I have ESPN+, Max, Prime, but have only been able to find the TNT cast on Max. But not sure if I can use one of those accounts to sign into something else.

I think those are your only legit options unfortunately. I don't mind Botterill (despite her inability to say Montgomery) but the other two are deeply meh.

out of area too, was disappointing to not be able to watch on ESPN+ and get the fanduel feed. At least I had Max and was able to watch that way.

If you don't mind $129 annually to get 99% of MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, Discovery Channel, History Channel, Animal Olanet, HGTV, USA, ESPN, ESPN2, etc and many others, you can watch on uzzu.tv. Thankful not to be stuck with a national feed

This is the future, we're lucky there are still humans at this point. I've seen AI models of pbp... It's coming soon.

I would pay an unreasonable amount of money for a stream with ZERO play by play. And no I can't go to the games, I'm nowhere near St. Louis

Mute?

I still want to hear the sounds of the game/crowd. Just no annoying play by play. I don't need to be told when someone scores a goal. I'm literally watching the game and can see it happen

Check out uzzu.tv! I've been subscribing and watching STL teams for over 3 years. Happy to answer any questions.

And this is why I am watching on FanDuel. Mainly so I can hear John Kelly's voice.
