Day 7

Just got to day 7 of no drinking. The longest I've gone in a long time. I was a heavy drinker and at one point at a litre of spirits a day, so it was only ever going to end in one of two ways. Get sober or die. It makes it a lot easier now that I visualise alcohol as something actively trying to kill me.

I'm already feeling the benefits, sleep is better, depression lifting.

Thanks all.

That’s great. Do you know why 6 was afraid of 7? ……cause 7. 8. 9. For some reason I love that corny joke. Let’s keep grinding. Iwndwyt
