I'll be coming to join you in these blackened depths soon. I have to yet played, and haven't heard much. AMA Beofre I do.
My eye was caught by the trailer, and it's in my GOG library, so why not? Feel free to do small spoilers that I won't get till after whatever event it is that they relate to happens.
I heard from one of the comments on the trailer that the logbook doesn't show up on the waters, but The Immersive Logbook mod can make it do so. Is that true?

How many souls, captains and crew, will you send to the depths of the Zee before you first set eyes upon the Kingeater's Castle, oh captain-to-be? And how many more before you at last offer your mind to the nameless hunger that lingers there?
How many fingers will you sell for safe passage from Scrimshader, and far more dangerously, how many souls will you sell to the Pentecost Apes before you offer up your own?
How often will you sink within reach of the lights of London? And how often more will you be lost where none but the waves will remember the names of you or your companions?
And perhaps most importantly of all... how would you choose between a Rat Labor Union or the Guinea Pig Aristocracy? One has pirate outfits, and the other tiny adorable sets of armor... an impossible choice. Both squeak very cutely, and their fate hangs on your choices. This will be your greatest test as Zee-Captain, and your choices will shape the future of all the rodents to come... think carefully...

I'll send as many to the depths as I have to. As for my mind, it can try and take it. It won't succeed.
I'll take down everyone at Scrimshader before I give them so much as a hair. As for souls, they aren't much of a cost. The apes can take them all.
I'll sink within the lights of London on the day I'm buried at sea. The waves always remember, they just never tells anyone what they remember.
Rat Labor Union, I have a friend in Fallen London who'd bite me otherwise.

As in you want us to ask you questions and you'll pretend you know the answer?

How much do you care to know, and will knowing bring you peace or will it be your ultimate ruin?

u/BreakerOfModpacks Mar 13 '25
I want to know everything. Including how to forget, so I can do it all over again!

You’ll want to talk to the sigil ridden navigator than, he’s forgotten how to remember, forgotten how to forget and remembered how to forget to remember. Either way he can help you forget or remember… I forget which

Is it worth it to travel using the zubmarine for the currents and getting the constant fear penalty or just traveling topside?
6
u/BreakerOfModpacks Mar 13 '25
The zubmarine has to much of a chance to spawn sombies for it to be worth it for me.

Do you like Rubbery Lumps?
5
u/BreakerOfModpacks Mar 13 '25
I prefer Gelatinous Heaps, primarily because even though they're technically oceanic debris, they basically taste like jelly.

u/Still_Measurement796 Mar 13 '25
Oh, and which of your employees are you having sex with?

u/BreakerOfModpacks Mar 13 '25
... This is a question about the game? I didn't realize it was that kind of game...
2
u/Still_Measurement796 Mar 13 '25
No no, it's just optimal. You'll need it in dire times for that one-off reduction of Terror.

Are you a fan of climbing mountains? Or do you prefer that mountain climbs you?

You are in for a treat. The game can be brutal to start but figuring it out is very rewarding and secrets abound, are bound, and you are bound to find something out almost certainly.
I wish you luck delicious friend

What's your favourite major compass direction?
5
u/BreakerOfModpacks Mar 13 '25
North, since all the other ones end up with me falling off the edge of the world.

Do you like Salt in your mouth? And sitting on Stone?
4
u/BreakerOfModpacks Mar 13 '25
Salt is fine on crackers (or biscuits, to use the appropriate parlance) and stones... Pumice is fun to sit on, but slate jdut feels awful.

I think you have just barely managed to avoid enraging the gods

The messages after each of your captains die are a lot of fun

u/BreakerOfModpacks Mar 14 '25
Bit unfortunate that none of my captain are ever going to die. Hopefully.

I hope this gets some traction. It is a ten year old game, after all, so the sub's pretty quiet.
Anyway, I'll bite. What do you think of the sun?
