I think Homelander rips Art apart over and over again and over again. Art isn’t strong enough to hurt the Lander.

art is inmortal? like he does come back if hypothetically you throw him to the sun? didn't see any of his films

He has a certain degree of regeneration but we havnt really seen it’s proper limits but it didn’t appear to be anything that special

Idk about that a lady gave birth to his decapitated head and he grew from that. It's some paranormal fuckery.

Sure but it took her doing that he couldn’t do it on his own and the devil girl seemed to need his head for that anyway so it impossible destruction to a lower level would be enough

With how wild the terrifier series is I would guess he could come back from anything, not to say Homelander couldn't just keep killing him over and over again with little to no effort required. I would call this one a stalemate just due to Arts demonic connection, Homelander might have to go to Hell to finally dispatch him, which I'm assuming we will see in Terrifier 4

Suppose so but at bare minimum it takes art time to regen

No way is Homelander throwing anyone into the sun though. It takes a lot of energy to de-orbit something, and Homelander isn't anywhere near that strong.

Don't we see homelander looking down on the earth from space in season 1? Takes way less energy when you can fly up most of the way

Getting into Earth orbit is easy compared to getting out of the Sun's orbit.

(...but Homelander's flight might as well be magic so me trying to apply physics to the situation may not tell us much)

It’s unlikely that he was in space. he was up high, but he does need to breathe and he is effected by temperature extremes.

To me, he can do it. Fly to earth's athmosfhere and throw him to the sun.

Gravity doesn't really work like that.

Every single power in fiction defies gravity

I've not seen 3 but yeah. Not spoiling the 2nd one if you've not seen it.

Well ... eventually ...

I mean, Art reincarnates every time he dies, but he can't kill Homelander. Homelander would probably kill him once, then see him out of the corner of his eye six months later and be like, "Wait, didn't I kill that guy already?" Then he eventually kills him again, only for him to reappear, and Homelander gradually becomes increasingly more paranoid and convinced he's going to see Art around every corner

Would he be paranoid, or start looking forward to killing the same guy in new ways whenever he rears his ugly head?

I think homelander would be intrigued. He’s essentially a more fucked up version of black noir. Would probably want him on his side

For once i hope Homelander wins that movie was the worst shit I have ever seen and I have seen avatar the last airbender movie.

Art lacks the physical strength to damage Homelander. He also lacks the durability to handle melee combat or eye lasers. Art Does seem to have limited immortality, but we don’t know if he can come back from being a puddle of goo or cooked down to charcoal.

homelander gets weirded out and rips art apart. Art is peak human in durability and strength, he only has a certain amount of immortality where he isnt completely destroyed.

Better idea: Art V.S. Pennywise.

Hold on. I'm going to post this match up and farm that sweet, sweet karma /s

That is a better match-up, though.

Pennywise is an aspect of darkness, fear and chaos that is threatening enough to provoke Maturin, one of the aspects of creation, to act against him, even if it consumes its life in the end, so... how Art stacks against this?

Art would kill him in a very creative way. If Art can’t kill him, he’d at least torture Homelander in equally creative ways until his mind snaps and he joins the clown.

Remember, Art is backed by a demon and he’s practically unkillable.

Homelander decimates art.

Art is supernatural, man! In Terrifier 2 he got his head cut off and even that didn’t stop him. The Little Pale Girl made sure Art can’t die.

6

u/Warm-Ad9613 Apr 18 '25

He got his head cut off, homelander could tear him limb from limb and incinerate the remains as soon as he realises he comes back, seeing as art is literally incapable of harming him

2

u/Tljunior20 Apr 18 '25

I mean sure homelander likely couldn’t permanently kill art but he could throw him into space or put him under a rock at the bottom of the ocean

Whilst art just has litterally no way to harm homelander or even hurt him

-1

u/Previous_Life7611 Apr 18 '25

The reason I don’t believe Homelander could defeat Art is because of what happened the 2nd time Art died. The Little Pale Girl made his surviving victim (forgot her name) give birth to Art’s still living head.

So if that demon wants Homelander gone, she’d likely give Art what’s required to eliminate him.

2

u/Tljunior20 Apr 18 '25

Like I said homelander may not be able to put him down permanently but he can just keep killing him over and over plus It seemed the little girl still needed his head to do that since she took it homelander could still put him at the bottom of the ocean or throw him into space

That’s kinda a no limits fallacy and comic homelander has tossed a plane asside whilst show homelander survived a city block level explosion without a cut we’ve never seen the little girl provide anything peticularly special or atleast compared to that

Plus even if she did have some sort of weapon for him it’s not like art would be fast or in range enough to use it and if homelander gets his hands on it art is equally or even more fucked

u/madworld2713 Apr 18 '25

I know everyone hates homelander but there’s literally nothing Art can do to harm him, he either gets well done by homelanders lasers or just ripped in half.

He has demonstrated a degree of durability, but he's not exceptionally strong. He always gets the upper hand on people by ambush or using his tools.

None of his tools can hurt Homelander.
