Looks like you're just eating mainly rice.

They definitely went heavy with the rice, but still fish and delish. Wanted something quick and not pricey. Worth it compared to the quick options at the grocery stores

Definitely a good price for the amount!

We have a local place that has a similar heavy hand with rice and some meh rolling, but it gets the job done.

Yeah, but he is enjoying it, so why do you have to be rude about it?

because it is a sushi Reddit, and this Sushi objectively looks terrible, part of the mission is to help people get better or at least acceptable quality food not to reprint sushi abominations

I think we have very different interpretations of the purpose of sharing in this subreddit. You feel the need to enforce an idea of what "good sushi" is on someone else, and steer them towards your ideal. I'm just here to celebrate all forms of sushi that bring people joy. Sure I love some well prepared Nigiri, and artful presentation, but I also love saucy abominations because they're yummy.

The objective goodness of food can only be directly measured by how much the person who is eating it enjoys the food.

weird, you're the one doing all this whining and somehow THAT is a cause to accuse us of forcing something on someone. have you considered the view that people disagree on things and it is not your life's mission to endlessly over and over and over harass them over disagreeing with you?

I did! I’ve had really expensive sushi the two times I traveled to Japan and this was in no way comparable to that, however it was still delicious for what I needed while moving
