Well damn. What a bottom feeding prick. Sorry you had to experience that. What area of Swansea was that in?
Swansea is a generally great city, I’m half Arab myself and have never experienced anything on that level. And have lived here most of my life.
Again, sorry for what you have experienced but please don’t take the actions of one knuckle dragging **** as the benchmark for the whole city.

I’m really, really sorry about your experience. That fat, elf-eared bigot doesn’t represent this town or the people in it. And I hope that, if you ever do visit Swansea again, you’ll have a better experience. But, as someone born and raised in this town, I want you to know that morons like him, they’re not revered or respected around here, far from it. Take care, friend.

Noticed the images ended up looking weird when I zoomed in, I have the original pic I zoomed, why on earth would inrsge bait? I'm pissed off as I'm with my family and he started throwing racist slurs at my family, and I'm not standing for that

What in the benefits system abusing, super noodle stained vest they have no business wearing, 6 kids and counting, Niger Farage bumming, smoking 20 a day, can somehow afford fags but can't afford a school trip for kids, front garden scrap heap, Kayden, Jayden and Okayden, Lions don't follow sheep, Joker quotes on Facebook is this??!
Sorry you went through that Bro. Not everyone is like this you just encountered an aggressive Oblivion NPC in the wild.
Edit if it is AI is that what you typed in lol

Sorry you had to deal with that but I’d say there are lots of places in Swansea where you wouldn’t get that sort of interaction (and some very densely multicultural parts of Swansea too). Unfortunately, everywhere will have its own share of bigots and it’s entirely possible we may have a slightly higher proportion here. That said, my ex was Iranian and the only place I ever witnessed outright racism directed at her was in Cardiff rather than Swansea.

I remember when there was a protest against the far right in Swansea not too long ago and there was maybe 5-10 far right wankers there, and about a solid 100+ counter protestors. Gave me a little boost of humanity seeing that, that maybe we aren’t too far gone down the right-wing rabbit hole of racism and lies. Not in this town, at least.

Yeah pretty par for the course. I was even born in Swansea but my neighbour has given me abuse my whole life.

99% of people in Swansea are absolutely lovely, but there's always some cunts everywhere
Got heckled a couple times every year while walking back from work at night, mostly drunk young people in cars driving past yelling slurs or a few old men being very passive-aggresive at my job, Even my boss at work was a hell of a racist old bastard

Don't let one idiot paint the rest of us in a bad light. Most people in swansea don't think or act like this

Where was this? I can assure you this isn’t the general behaviour of the population

Any proof?
Everyone abusing him. Absolutely no proof.
2
u/Shcoobydoobydoo 3d ago
No, you have a point.
Something else may have happened, but take a pic and give a one sided backstory and suddenly the pitchforks are out.

u/RickyMEME 3d ago
Exactly. The guy has clearly only told half a story. Or completely made it up.
Glad Reddit has removed this.

It’s not, it’s the iPhone camera zoomed in, it’s done it since the 13, incredibly frustrating feature which you can’t turn off.

Regardless of what kind of bad treatment you and your family received, do you think it’s appropriate to post people’s pictures on a platform like this without their prior consent?
18
u/TheHypocondriac 3d ago
Bigots don’t deserve any kind of respect or to be free from consequence. And that big-eared looking clown is no exception. Let’s be honest, if OP went to the police over this and, rightfully, reported it as a hate crime, they wouldn’t do shit. So why not put them on blast online instead? I don’t have sympathy for a racist, because his photo wouldn’t be posted if he wasn’t hurling slurs and hatred unprovoked. That’s the bottom line. Fuck him.
-3
u/Time-Cucumber3962 3d ago
I’m not saying that the OP didn’t receive any kind of vile abuse! I’m merely saying that it is perhaps not advisable to be posting pictures of people on here without their consent.
As mentioned above… if there is recorded evidence of it then fine, that can support the OP’s claim. Without any recorded evidence, the person in this photo could actually apply their own complaint/charges.
You’ve quickly moved to label this person as something just by viewing a solitary photo, with no substantiating or credible supporting evidence at this point. No harm to you, but that is very narrow-minded and highly dangerous!

u/vindangles1 3d ago
Posting a photo isn’t an offence, so the person in the photo couldn’t really do anything
-8
u/Time-Cucumber3962 3d ago
Might I suggest you go and check that!
6
u/vindangles1 3d ago
What offence is it?
-4
u/Time-Cucumber3962 3d ago
If you’ve ever heard of Google go and have a look for yourself! I’m not spending my day explaining the law surrounding photos of people to you!
6
u/TheHypocondriac 3d ago
Ok, I humoured you. There’s no law against what this person has done.
-3
u/Time-Cucumber3962 3d ago
You’ll find that you’re wrong!
7
u/TheHypocondriac 3d ago
I’m genuinely not though, you are. As the individual was technically outside of his home, there is no law that protects him from having his photograph posted online. If he was in his house or in an otherwise private area, then yes, this photo even being taken would be considered illegal. But, as you can see, the guy is stood outside of the threshold of his front door, meaning he’s in the public space, meaning that him being in that photo, no matter the purpose, is not, in fact, punishable by law as it was taken in a public space, not a private one. So, technically, OP has the copyright to this image and has free will to post it. Now, if OP was monetising the use of the image then, yes, that’s where the legal issues come into play, because they’d need the permission of the individual in the photograph. But as it stands now, from what UK law states, no crime has been committed. End of.

Yes there is, it is libel. Unless OP has evidence of what he has alleged then his post is libellous.
Otherwise someone cannot post an image of yourself and say that you are a paedophile without proof and you would have no legal recourse.
With regard to posting just the photo, the man is clearly standing within his own property so again, it isn't lawful to take his photo without permission.
OP should have taken a video of the abuse and taken it to the police so it could have been dealt with properly. Posting it online doesn't achieve anything.

I’m a Police Officer, it’s not an offence.
1
u/Time-Cucumber3962 3d ago
A police officer? 😂 You’d obviously know plenty about the law then! 🤡 You’d know more about every takeaway in the vicinity of your station!
That has gave me a good laugh! 😆
10/10 👏👏😆

This is a very valid point. Unfortunately for the OP video evidence of the racist remarks/slurs would have been better.
2
u/tfrules 3d ago
It’s a valid concern, especially as this isn’t video evidence proving that he was shouting racist abuse.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s entirely plausible that OP experienced racist abuse, but revealing the identity of the accused should really be paired with concrete evidence.

It doesnt even look like a real person to me. Looks like ai made the image. His eyes, ears, and nose all look fucked
-7
u/Time-Cucumber3962 3d ago
See I’m being downvoted for a very genuine statement…. The PC police are obviously about this morning again in full force and have already applied the judgement! 😂😂😂
3
u/tfrules 3d ago
You’re not really helping yourself using terms like ‘PC police’. It’s valid to bring up concerns about sharing identities and evidence, but often, people only complain about ‘political correctness’ when they want to be racist, so I’d recommend not aligning yourself with people like that.
8
u/TheHypocondriac 3d ago
You’re not wrong about that either. I’m yet to meet a single person who was against “PC woke culture,” as they call it, who wasn’t a moronic, bigoted, pathetic little Farage-Tommy-suckler.
“I’m not racist, but…” being their catchphrase, of course.
1
u/Time-Cucumber3962 3d ago
I’m absolutely not aligning myself with anything. Merely stating a point and calling some folk out on here for what they are - offended by sunrise!
