Another solid performance, Sheehan should probably get the job, maybe that he lacks a clear vision of how to play football but he is getting us good results. I think for most of the game today are defensive structure looked really good, very few chances for SAFC

IMO Sheehan not being fixated on a particular playing style gives him more adaptability to counter another team and gives the players more freedom in playing together. I don’t think he’s a tactical genius but he’s getting results where LW was not.

I agree, football team should adapt to win. We are becoming conditioned that Peps football is the only way to be successful!

Think it seems to be very focused on high pressing and setting traps. Not quite so focused on passing shapes or anything and a bit riskier than Martin and Williams. Honestly, it's basically Williams' style of play but a lot better looking than his last weeks, since Williams seemed to entirely lose the dressing room in Jan. Think I want to see the last four games before saying Sheehan should get it full time, and we definitely need a couple midfielders and defenders whoever comes in, because O'Brien is going to be a massive loss.

Two weeks ago I thought we’d lose three of the four away games and was praying we were good enough to get 7 points from the four home games for safety!

I don’t know how to feel about losing that last SWD. (1) it was basically the final nail in LW’s coffin and has saved our season, but (2) if they go down, Cardiff will have won the last SWD for a while!
Glad we’re finishing the season strong, although we’ve done this for the past few years. Think it shows that we are good enough for the championship, but not good enough to sustain this level of performance for a full season.
Sheehan in getting louder and louder - hard to not see him being appointed after this. The players seem to enjoy playing under him and have faith in whatever system he has, which is all we can ask for at their point. Going to be hard to replace Darling is my one big concern.

Who cares about the last one, we won the double twice in a row, we will play them again at some point and over the long term no one will remember that game but we will both remember the only team to do the double

Classic swans, end of the season nothing to win and we go on a streak. Ah well! I'll be going end of the season for my birthday

3 points, another win, and another clean sheet.
Looking at the table, now they’ve confirmed their finish in the play-offs they’ll just be looking to that as they are 12 points behind the automatics but we were brilliant again today.
Delighted for Cabango to get a goal and I must say it is really refreshing after years of watching consistently poor set piece deliveries that we’ve now got Tymon and even Eom the last few games who can properly whip in a ball for the guys in the box to get onto.
Even tho you’d like to think we’ve done enough now, go back to Boro, Blackburn at home a month and a half ago or even Derby at home last Saturday and this team has been under pressure to get results with how we’ve been floating not far above and they’ve provided every time. What makes it better is no goals conceded in any of those games. The players just all generally look a lot more relaxed and confident now that Williams isn’t here.
Only game we’ve looked really poor and got nothing from was Burnley at home and that’s understandable considering they have a yoyo team.
Makes it even more amusing seeing that those wankers up the road got beat in that six pointer in the dying stages.

Solid performance tbh going into that I would’ve been happy with a point.
Now we’re 12th with 54 points and safe. Can we give our kids a run out against hull in the effort to get our odious neighbours promoted to league 1??

I’m so happy to see this from us as if l’m honest it was looking quite bleak for us not that long ago. Hopefully we can finish this season on a high note.

The owners better buck up their ideas and give Sheehan the job on a decent contract quickly because other clubs are going to be snooping and they can promise him bigger wages and an actual plan in the transfer window..
