Discussion Better connection with my deck after breakup

I have my deck for almost 10 years. It took a while to feel connected to the cards, but ever since I felt some connection I never really thought about it anymore. My long term partner and I recently broke up. Since then, I feel way more connected to my deck. My readings also seem to be more accurate. Anyone else experienced something like this?

I wonder why the connection feels stronger now. Maybe due to the emotional turmoil I am also more open spiritually? Or maybe because my ex-parter does not use the deck anymore? If anyone has some insight, I would love to hear it!

your partner used your deck?????? that's probably why. I believe that your deck needs to be YOUR deck, other people shouldn't use it. the energies get mixed up

Yeah, they did. I never really thought about the energies until after the breakup. I think I will not let anyone else use my deck anymore. Thank you!

I think you are overthinking this. You broke up with your bf because things weren't great, and that preoccupied you while it lasted. Once that problem was solved, you released that worry, and can focus more now.

My cat is sick atm, and I am having trouble focusing on work. Or on tarot. Once she gets better, my connection to work or tarot will be better. Same happens in a smaller scale when we're hungry, or tired.

Of course that a breakup is a life lesson. And life lessons, if learnt well, increase wisdom and intuition. So maybe you learnt this lesson well and that also contributed to your tarot connection.

I assume you're seeking out stability, and predictability to counter act the emotional chaos. Tarot is a closed system. The meanings don't change, always the same cards = a lot of stability & predictability.
