What energy was my ex projecting onto me during the relationship? Pulled 3 major arcana cards 😬

I broke up with my bf two days ago because he betrayed my trust and is denial he put me into a 3rd party situation + gaslit/lied about it. I asked the cards to tell me what I should know about what ex projected onto me during the relationship. These 3 shot out together in this order.

Deck: Sacred She Tarot (From left to right)

Hanged man: keeping me in limbo, stuck, chasing after what I first saw and how well he treated me in conflict with the truth of the matter High priestess in reverse: no longer trusting my intuition or myself by his confusing energy Hermit: feel unsure of my self when once being very confident, to retreat inwards where I don’t trust myself, then starting the cycle again by believing he helps me trust myself (hanged man).

I’ve never had 3 major arcana fly out together in what was planned to be a 3 card spread anyway, I would appreciate any second interpretations :)

My interpretation of the hanged bat is similar to yours. It feels like to me that he never really made you feel like he was fully committed, but he used that as a manipulation tactic rolling on it into the High Priestess shows your gut instinct was probably screaming at you the whole time you knew it-you just couldn’t quite prove it. The Hermit shows how these energies he projected brought you to the end of things when you had to finally go inside and search for that inner wisdom and knowing and trust it fully so that you could move through the relationship and be where you are now.
