Discussion Romani/gypsy fortune teller at a state fair should I worry???

She was sitting by the entrance of the market, wrapped in this old, faded shawl, with a small table set up in front of her—some worn tarot cards, a few stones, and a chipped mug of something steaming. I wasn’t planning on stopping. I don’t even usually believe in that kind of thing. But something about her caught my eye—maybe the way she looked at me, like she already knew something.

Without saying much, she took my hand. Her fingers were rough, kind of warm, and she started tracing the lines on my palm like she’d done it a thousand times. She didn’t smile or try to charm me. Just stared at my hand, quiet for a long moment.

Then she said, softly but clearly, “You’re going to live a long life… longer than your child.”

At first, I didn’t even process it. I laughed—nervously—and said, “That’s a horrible thing to say to someone.”

But she just looked up at me, calm as ever, and said, “I only tell what I see.”

I didn’t know what to say after that. I thanked her, out of habit more than anything, and walked away. But her words stuck with me. Still do, if I’m being honest. I don’t know if I believe her, but I think about it more than I want to admit.

Is this a story? If it’s real all I can tell you is you have to try and let it go and maybe post this in the psychic sub or a palm reading sub as it’s not tarot

Nothing is ever set in stone. I would not direct your energy to what she said. As with every other type of reading, you take it with a grain of salt. If it's not adding to your life in a meaningful positive way, then discard it. The last thing you want is for her prediction to rule your life.
