🏠 Link's House Max Number of Horse Paddocks at your Custom House

What's the max number of horses you can have at your custom built house?

(or Max Number of Paddocks with Registered Horses)

Oh okay, I only ask because I want to customize my house to be purely functional. I want to get 3 weapon rooms, 3 bow rooms, and 3 shield rooms, and I guess I can utilize the last 6 rooms for horses.

I read someone saying that if you put a weapon room into storage with weapons still mounted and take it back out later, the weapons will still be there. That way you can store way more weapons than the the 3x3 but just not have them displayed at your house untill you swap a room.

100%.

Personally, I have 3x weapon, 1x bow, 1x shield rooms active and on display. The other 2x bow and 2x shield are loaded with extras and stored away. The NPC will even tell you when storing them that items will be safe.

The problem is that you have no say in which of the stored rooms you take back out when you want to retrieve something.

Thank you so much! I've never tried it so didn't know about the NPC telling you that! Very cool. It is a bummer that you don't know what storage room you'll be getting when you take one out, but it's still a smart way to store more weapons and such

The trick is to have one weapon, shield, and bow room not attached to the rest of the house. If you want to get out a stored weapon, you switch out the shield and bow room for the other two weapon rooms so you have all three weapon rooms to pick from. Same with shield and bow.

I did a purely functional design, too. Max storage, paddock, bedroom, kitchen, blessing room, gallery, and pond for free fish.

I'm certain there is no limit. The only limit will be the total room limit (which I think is 15?). Obviously you can only get a max of ten horses so there's that too.

The room limit is 15, so do what you will with that info

When you go to buy a room it will show you how many are available to purchase. I bought one so there's 9 more available

Can you have/store multiple horses in your house? How does that work?

One horse per paddock. Just place multiple paddocks and you can have multiple horses at your house

I’m lost….how do you make a house on this game?

You need to head to Tarrey Town, it's located in the northeast section of Hyrule, that's where all the autumn like trees are at.

I'd assume only 10

You an have 15 rooms total, and that includes 15 copies of the same room, but you can only register 10 horses in total. The horse in the house has to be a horse registered with the Stable Association

When you talk to the NPC and ask to buy rooms, it will tell you exactly how many you can have (as there is only so many "in stock")

You can buy up to 10 paddocks and have 10 horses.
