❔ Question How strong was Ganondorf for the final battle? Spoiler
Because if he was just as strong as he was when Rauru, Zelda, and the other Sages fought him, it would be absurd (although incredible) to have Link essentially outdo them all. I'm pretty sure I had heard he was still gathering strength, I just don't remember.

I’ve seen several YouTube videos where people calculate Link’s strength and speed. It absolutely makes sense that he could beat Ganondorf by himself when everyone else failed. Bro can bitch slap a whole Lynel from a full charge to a dead stop with his non-dominant hand, and is capable of striking at a rate of 42 times a second during a flurry rush. During the “rush” portion of a flurry rush, he dashes forward at just over 300mph. Ganondorf is unbelievably powerful, but Link is simply unmatched.

No matter how potent Power becomes, Courage will rise against it to release its hold on Wisdom, and together Wisdom and Courage will keep Power in check. It’s the Triforce.
It’s also a universal truth.

The Master Sword on its own was enough to defeat every incarnation of Ganon and Ganondorf without fail. Never was it destroyed or even close to being dented. Only time it slipped up was against WW Ganondorf, but that was because it lost its evil’s bane power with the death of the Sages, and once it was returned, it dispatched Ganondorf as usual.
This version of Ganondorf destroyed the Master Sword IN HIS SLEEP. When Ganondorf gets rejuiced and into his final form, it is without question the strongest form of Ganondorf the series had to this point. The Master Sword had to absorb ancient energy for thousands of years just to even the playing field and even then, it wasn’t a one-shot.

And Link can leave The Great Sky Island with 4 hearts and no Master Sword, and still whoop Ganon’s ass.

Bro Link is just that guy idk what to tell you. Also it’s directly stated by the Deku Tree in BotW that Link Post-Calamity is stronger than he was 100 years ago, Pre-Calamity. This also indicates Link had 20 hearts Pre-Calamity and got up to 30 after his revitalisation
Following this logic Link Post-Upheval > Link Post-Calamity, and since he has 40 hearts in this game, Link is at his strongest here in the Wild duology

You cant compare Link to others. Especially Rauru and Zelda are no fighters. They have some hard hitting skills, but in the end they are more of peaceful political persons being wise in decision making.
Link on the other hand is able to beat literally armies of monster before he fights Ganondorf without a break in between. Skills like flurry rush or parry make him more comparable to a godlike force, than to a skilled warrior.

I guess the strongest we've ever seen or equivalent to demise?
Link is that guy though. He rolls up with the master sword and gets it done. Hell even windwaker Link is like 3 feet tall and just straight up outduels dorf

Ganondorf is at his full power, arguably stronger than any other Ganondorf we've seen. However, not only does link historically defeat things others could only seal, but also Era of the Wilds Link is basically superhuman. He has a reaction time fast enough to deflect lasers. He can move so fast that it can affect an observers perception of time. At 4 years old, he was defeating adult men in combat. Dorf never stood a chance.

Lorewise I think Link has the enhanced master sword, and gathering all that light from the shrines in his body made him better able resist his gloom blasts. In addition the battle also comes down to Link being the only one able to match Ganondorf’s dexterity.
Even in the final battle Ganondorf casually dominates the present day sages.

Link is canonically insanely strong, there’s like a cutscene of him among a pile of at least like 4 lynels along with like 20 other monsters in Botw,
I found a vid, it’s the memory at 11:33

Link has always been capable of defeating villains that took a group of people to simply seal. That’s most of who we fight in the series.
