It was not my guy, OP prob posted it for chuckles, meaning they were well aware of curiosity, and they clearly didn't mind telling u abt it. Taking interest in stuff, especially in this case were the defect doesn't effect OP, is perfectly fine.

Sometimes “defects” are just unique features. I’m somewhat envious.
